{{helpme}} Thank you for your answer. I was wondering why the info was disappearing. I don't understand why it is seen as advertising. In Canada this is still a very new concept and it is the first dental spa in Ontario outside of Toronto. The practice has been featured in various newspapers and magazines being described as new and progressive. This is my first edition to Wikipedia and I would like to know how to write it so that it is not seen as advertising, which it is not intended to be. I don't see how what I wrote is different from Sugarhouse or Mickelwait Family Dentistry. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattbladowski (talk • contribs) 05:56, 21 March 2011
- There are several things going on, first, I don't think the Mickelwait links are appropriate, and have removed them. The page has major issues that need work to bring it in line with wikipedia standards. What happened was that someone was reviewing your new contribution, but not checking the article for similar issues. Generally what I would suggest, is that instead of linking to the website site of the dental spa, you instead use references to independent sources (like serious news coverage) that have covered the uniqueness of the dental spa. That way it will be clear to those of us without special knowledge that your including something noteworthy, rather then just throwing links up as an advertisement. Thank you. I will link it to an article from London Free Press, the largest newspaper in London Ontario. Mattbladowski (talk) 03:04, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- Keep in mind that an article in a paper may not establish that the site warrants coverage here. Just because it exists does not mean it is notable from an encyclopaedic perspective. --Ckatzchatspy 03:21, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
