The article Stefan Bardas has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with...a new article that I am trying to create, under the heading "Stefan Bardas." I started only a small paragraph and then received a message that I needed references. I have now supplied some references and am awaiting further word. Meanwhile, I have found many other references. I tried to go back into the text to further edit but was unable to access the text for editing.

Also, when I began the article, I failed to state that the subject, Stefan Bardas, is deceased (2008), so I am getting the message that he is a living person.

This is my first time using this website to create an article. I assume that someone will contact me, but I have not yet figured out how I will receive such correspondence. If someone wishes to reach me by email, the address is: <email address removed>

Hello! If you want to improve this article, I suggest that you write it in Draftspace, where the most of the reasons for deletion of pages do not apply. After you finish the article in draftspace, copy this text: {{subst:submit}} and put it on the top of the article. I have moved the article here, so you can work on it without fear of deletion. Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... I am looking for the page which gives the proper way of referencing a newspaper article MaxieDog (talk) 08:58, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... I am working on an article that has been declined for lack of references. I used online sources and entered them under "External Links," which was probably a mistake. They are from the world-wide web and probably should be entered under "References."

MaxieDog (talk) 10:52, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Add ==References== to the article then add {{Reflist}} under it. See Template:Reflist#Usage as an example. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 11:20, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You don't put the citations under the section references, which you've done here. You put them put them after the sentence you're trying to reference for example. In his retirement, he continued to teach privately and as an adjunct faculty member at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.<ref>{{cite web|title=J.K.G. Silvey statue|url=http://northtexan.unt.edu/archives/s08/untnews.htm|website=The North Texan Online|publisher=[[University of North Texas]]|accessdate=30 November 2016}}</ref> Then the reflist will make them appear in the reference section. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 13:49, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stefan Bardas

[edit]

Hi. I understand your frustration. A lot of people from my country don't have articles because the sources just aren't there. Don't give up - Wikipedia can be very rewarding. There are notability requirements that you may want to read - see WP:NMUSIC. If Stefan passes these requirements he deserves an article on WP. Gbawden (talk) 03:56, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
