Hi Macy!
I have a long list of articles to read for my wiki article; it's taking me a while, but I'm getting there. Hope yours is going well. See you tomorrow!

McGurk Effect
[edit]I have chosen to edit this article because I find it an interesting phenomena. I believe that I have found sufficient information and references on it to be able to add a significant amount and hopefully address the remaining issues with the article. This is a fairly straight forward phenomena and there is not a lot to it but I am hoping expand the information on the effect into different areas that were not already addressed. I am confident that with suggestions from the wiki world I can bring this article to GA standing.

Hi Macy! How's your Did You Know submission going? Hope all is well! Gorakshep (talk) 21:45, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Mdeeh,
It doesn't look like you submitted for Did You Know yet. Are you having technical trouble?

DYK for McGurk effect
[edit]On 6 December 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article McGurk effect, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that when you can see a person speaking, sometimes you hear something different than what is being said because the brain cannot tell whether it is seeing or hearing speech? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/McGurk effect. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
