Please cite sources
[edit]People want to be able to verify information on Wikipedia. So, significant edits need have their content cited using reliable sources. See verifiablity. This means that information must be published, and presumably vetted, by reliable groups and individuals. What you should do is to locate a source that supports the edit you wish to make. Then add a citation to that. Peruse wp:welcome to learn about editing Wikipedia. You can also visit the Teahouse for information and assistance. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Welcome and Happy editing! Jim1138 (talk) 00:06, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

Jarvis Cocker citation
[edit]<ref>{{cite news |url= http://www.uncut.co.uk/jarvis-cocker/jarvis-cocker-on-south-bank-show-news |title= Jarvis Cocker On South Bank Show |author= |date= |accessdate= 1 September 2014 |work= [[Uncut (magazine)|Uncut]] }}</ref> (leave out the nowikis) This becomes[1] Add this immediately (no spaces) after punctuation or to the right of the item being cited. Please make sure the link works OK before saving (use "Show preview"). There is no author. If you know who the author is please add after |author=. Also, a date would be desirable such as 3 March 1942 (British). Remember not to add anymore than what is in the article. Anything not in the article would be WP:OR. Thanks for asking. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 00:33, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
