License tagging for Image:HTJjandalsweb.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HTJjandalsweb.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:07, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Messagetraders

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Chaotic Enby, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, The Nomad (New Zealand producer), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Chaotic Enby}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@Chaotic Enby: Hi there, yes thanks for your message - I have a tonne of references to add, however I'm travelling today and will have time to add them over the next 2-3 days. I'll let you know when I've added the footnotes. Cheers Messagetraders (talk) 23:19, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, it's just that some people write articles and don't necessarily realize they need references! The "Proposed deletion" thing is a bit scary but mostly to give a reminder that like, it's actually needed. Good luck! Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 23:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby: Hey thanks for the steer, I've added references / footnotes now and removed the deletion tag. I still have some to add to the bottom sections over the next few days, but hopefully this should suffice for now. Messagetraders (talk) 05:44, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, good job! Sorry for the scare! Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 11:23, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
