Speedy deletion nomination of NeuralSeek

[edit]

Hello Mgscb23,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged NeuralSeek for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Thanks for letting me know. I contested the deletion so I can rewrite the article. I am very much new to wikipedia, thanks for the heads up. Mgscb23 (talk) 19:56, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

NeuralSeek moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to NeuralSeek. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 1TWO3Writer (talk) 20:06, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:NeuralSeek, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello Mgscb23. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mgscb23. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mgscb23|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PICKLEDICAE🥒 20:32, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am creating this page at the request of my employer. Another user has moved the page back to the draft version. I am going to recreate a new version entirely to avoid copyright as well. Should I disclose the COI while it is in draft mode or as I send in to publish? Also, do I disclose on the Talk page? I apologies for not doing so beforehand. Thank you for the message. Mgscb23 (talk) 20:37, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I also will adjust all language in reference to the resources the other user has sent to me. Mgscb23 (talk) 20:38, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have not made any changes whatsoever since the notification of a speedy deletion. Mgscb23 (talk) 20:39, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Mandatory disclosure posted on my user page. Mgscb23 (talk) 20:47, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Would love to help resolve the issue and remove all promotional language. I am on the WPDR noticeboard but where do I join in the conversation? A little confused on Wikipedia still. My apologies. Mgscb23 (talk) 21:12, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but the admin decided it would need a total rewrite and deleted the article. However, you may make a new draft through Wikipedia:Article_wizard. For future reference, you just have to click the [edit source] button beside the big bold letters. The DRN is likely going to be dismissed because of the admin decision.
I also apologize for having to witness that on your first rodeo, usually our discussions here are more civil. 1TWO3Writer (talk) 21:54, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
