Simon Wessely
[edit]Keeping your comments brief and to-the-point is likely to help the discussion more than long unformatted posts.
You are free to suggest some people/articles/groups critical of Wessely's work, and these should indeed be included into the article, but detailed methodological deconstruction is not a good idea. JFW | T@lk 14:43, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Chronic fatigue
[edit]I see you've started work on chronic fatigue syndrome. It needs much work. Thanks for your help so far.
I've left a rather broad-ranging message on the talk page with regards to supporting the many claims the article presently makes. In particular the more obscure symptoms, theories and treatments should be removed until good documentary evidence is provided that these are indeed forces to reckon with. The fact that one alternative practicioner achieves remarkable results with some concoction is not generalisable, nor are personal experiences of particular sufferers. These crucial guidelines are strong Wikipedia policy: WP:NPOV and WP:NOR.
I gather you are no great fan of the psychiatric paradigm of CFS. Please be mindful that this is one of the important schools of thought on ME/CFS (however villified on the web), and deserves as fair a treatment as other theories. JFW | T@lk 00:41, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
