Proposed deletion of ExteNet Systems
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article ExteNet Systems, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- unsourced promotional article
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
This is a place for encyclopedic information, not publicity. If you are going to do an article on your company, first read our FAQ (on businesses and other organisations), and then make sure you are 3rd party independent reliable published sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases, or material based on press releases). Don't use the article as an excuse for an infomercial on the general subject, either, which seems where you are heading.
and, you must pick another username, one that does not have the company name. Only individuals may edit Wikipedia DGG (talk) 22:43, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I see the article was re-created, then it was tagged for speedy deletion as too promotional, and I'm sorry, I've just deleted it. I would love to have more articles on wireless technologies on Wikipedia, but we need articles with with reliable sources that establish your product's notability, and the article can't have a tone like a brochure. See WP:SPAM and WP:CORP for more. - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 05:51, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
