WTCF

Hey Mlaffs, just wanted to let you know (and save you some time) that I have an article ready and waiting in the sandbox for soon-to-be launched WTCF. It is supposed to be launched within the next "45 to 60 days". I am monitoring the FCC filings, so when it gets a license to cover (or I hear it on the radio), I will move the article to the WTCF page. For now, though, I am just waiting since it is still just an application and not an official license. - NeutralhomerTalk04:41, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Created the article, as I found at today the station will be technically launched in August, but the "official launch date" will be September 4. The time on the air in August will be the station in "testing mode". :) - NeutralhomerTalk11:21, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:KFMY-LP logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:KFMY-LP logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:06, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Page Flip

Hey Mlaffs, was wondering if you could flip a couple pages/histories for me. 99.5 WVMD moved to 100.1, formerly WDZN. 100.1 WDZN moved to 99.5, formerly WVMD. Essentially it is a callsign/format flip-flop, but I am not sure how do flip the pages. So, that's where I need your help. Thanks in advance...NeutralhomerTalk10:17, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Easy, peasy... Mlaffs (talk) 12:27, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
And, done! I haven't touched the actual format swap piece of things, or any changes to logos, etc. I figure you'll be much more tuned into that than I could be. Mlaffs (talk) 13:30, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! :) I just updated the article text. It was an everything flip, format, callsign, frequency, branding, everything but the kitchen sink got flipped, so it was easy. :) Now I have to get used to the change. So used to WDZN being on 100.1 and WVMD being on 99.5. :) Thanks again...NeutralhomerTalk15:36, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited KKOA, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waimea, Hawaii (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
