Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of Storm Prediction Center meso-gamma mesoscale discussions is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Storm Prediction Center meso-gamma mesoscale discussions (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

I noticed you changed my vote from justifying deletion to a keep vote on the above discussion. I'm guessing this was in good faith and a mistake, so I ask that you please use the reply key to vote, or properly indent your replies using the : (colon) key on a new line and remember to sign them with ~~~~ when using the source editor. I've removed the edit but you are free to re-add it, provided it's properly formatted. Departure– (talk) 14:33, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In this case, since you are not opening one, it's analogous to any other talk page / discussion forum, like the one you're using right now. Note that discussions of this nature should moreso be focused on policy - see WP:ILIKEIT for a few arguments to avoid. For instructions on opening one, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#Nominating article(s) for deletion. Cheers! Departure– (talk) 15:28, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
