It's under CC-attribution, so you'll need to provide either the author's name, etc (like at User:Jack Merridew). or link to the image directly (I think you can shorten one of the div classes to get a link just at the bottom, sort of like how I've done it at commons:User:Fetchcomms). This isn't a pressing issue, but it's a common CC license misinterpretation--it's not PD, so attribution is still required. So that's my daily {{Copyright Nazi}} from me, ɔ ʃ 21:43, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Re. May 2010

Hello Mono. You're warning/reverting the wrong user (me, instead of the vandal). Twice now. Please be more careful with your patrol. :-) Thank you. Regards, Húsönd 18:50, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

See my revert.--mono 18:51, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I did, it's all good. This kind of mistakes happen every now and then to all vandalfighters. Huggle is quite effective in preventing them though. Regards, Húsönd 18:55, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I am using WP:IGLOO which is similar. How does Huggle prevent them?--mono 18:56, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I've never used Igloo but I have several other tools (from which Huggle is clearly the best). Unlike previous tools I've used, you can self-revert yourself very easily when you notice you did something wrong. Huggle also checks a user's talk page for warnings, so you will normally know you are in the presence of a recurring vandal even before checking their edit. If Huggle detects no vandal warnings on the user's talk page, more caution is exercised by the patroller before slapping a warning. Regards, Húsönd 19:11, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I'll suggest that!--mono 00:08, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Just a note: the {{to do}} template is not supposed to be substituted. Thanks, Airplaneman 03:56, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

You don't look very retired. You slapped the template on two pages in your userspace, undid one, !voted in AfD's, copyedited, and then this. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 23:36, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Your Message

You left a message on my talkpage. I don't quite understand it. Have I done something wrong? MtD (talk) 00:51, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Not really; I just think you should read up on the deletion policy. I wanted to make sure that you knew that an AfD like this one is not about the number of votes cast. In addition, an article may be important, however, it has to be notable (determined by WP:IRS) whether you think it is or not. For questions, please reply here and add {{helpme}} to your message.--moɳo 00:57, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
I still don't understand. What is wrong with the comments I made on the Mac OS memory management discussion page? I thought I had explained why I think the article should be retained. MtD (talk) 01:05, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
It's not that you did something wrong, per say. I was attempting to point out that your voting rationale is a little flawed. See, at Wikipedia, we can't include everything (your brother's friend's shopping bag doesn't need an article) so we determine what to include through notability. Paraphrasing from the policy, Wikipedia covers notable topics - those that are "worthy of notice" and have been "noticed" to a significant degree. A topic that is suitable for inclusion and has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject is presumed to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article. Notability does not directly affect the content of articles, but only their existence. Therefore, a topic may be

notable (in your opinion); Wikipedia does not accept topics that have not been covered in reliable sources. For some exceptions, see this policy. Please respond with any questions.--moɳo 23:54, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Mac Project template

I'm not so sure about orange at {{Project Macintosh}}. It's very in-your-face-y and not very Apple-y. I think the old blue or perhaps a gray would work better, but I don't want to get in a revert war. HereToHelp (talk to me) 23:53, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Does it really matter? Btw, I don't edit war (just not in me); my preference is to have a civil discussion. Try something (a color) and I'll tell you what I think.--moɳo 23:56, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
I think going back to the old blue would be nice. I just didn't want you to take offense. HereToHelp (talk to me) 00:04, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

I just installed User:Paranomia/simplevote.js into my my vector.js, bypassed my cache, and it won't work. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 19:47, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Looking into it. Make sure you are using the latest Firefox; won't work in other browsers.--moɳo 23:34, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
is this the script that is inserting the check and X marks , that almost nobody at enWP uses for afd? ←No, I use Vector (the script coming tommorrow to the general public?) as do you. Try WP:BYPASS and make sure you are going not to individual entries, rather the log (see link). --moɳo 00:20, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Reverted your revision [1] to Template:WikiProject_Macintosh

This should be discussed; for instance I believe importance ratings serve a vital and useful purpose. Bring it up on WT:APPLE if you have any further thoughts. Thanks, Airplaneman 03:15, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

WP:MONTANA employs the same system; I feel that the Importance ratings are too subjective. We don't have clear guidelines for assessing this; I'd be happy to work on that.--moɳo 18:40, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi Mono, you might want to give some clarification of what you wanted to say there. Your script seems to have had a problem. --Pgallert (talk) 14:28, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

WP:GOOGLE Shortcut

Once again you have changed the redirect at WP:GOOGLE. As I have already told you, this is a widely-used redirect that has been cited in hundreds of discussions over the past several years, and it is not appropriate to unilaterally commandeer that redirect to promote your own small project (which, as far as I can tell, is more or less inactive). Changing the redirect changes the meaning of its usage in hundreds of past discussions, which defeats the purpose of archiving, as well as causing confusion for people who use the redirect now and expect it to point to WP:Search engine test. If you want a convenient redirect to your project, you are welcome to create a new one (might I recommend WP:GOOGLEPROJECT, WP:WPGOOGLE, or something like that), but do not mess up hundreds of links by taking over an existing redirect. rʨanaɢ (talk) 20:19, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

First of all, it is not my project (see WP:OWN). If you're so concerned about linkage, why don;t you ask a botop to write a program to re-link that. Unlike before, I used a descriptive edit summary and placed a template on the project page pointing to WP:SET. Therefore, I understand your point, however, I must ask that for the shortcut WP:GOOGLE that you include a similar notice like: You may be looking for WikiProject Google for the page. Let's not hog shortcuts; I am bringing this to WP:RFD for more discussion. Thank you.--moɳo 00:19, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
No, you write a bot and fix it, if you want to change it. Linkage is extremely important if it's used widely, not sure why you don't care (if it's not important then scrap your own redirect, wait, it's not actually yours 9_9). Let's not hog shortcuts, shall we? fetch·comms 00:33, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Um, see what I wrote... You point out that it isn't my redirect; I only pointed out (earlier) that WP:GOOGLE isn't my project: First of all, it is not my project (see WP:OWN). Secondly, I brought it to RfD for more discussion and proposed an action: Therefore, I understand your point, however, I must ask that for the shortcut WP:GOOGLE that you include a similar notice like: You may be looking for WikiProject Google for the page. Thanks, moɳo 00:37, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
@fc, see above section.--moɳo 00:38, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Much easier to leave it be than change everything around, don't you think? At least wait until your project is more active. And see RfD comments by Rjanag. fetch·comms 03:08, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps you saw my suggestion as well. What do you think of that? moɳo 03:09, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Hey, DTTR applies at User talk:NSD as much as anywhere. Why did you slap a template on an experienced user's page? It's cold, and frankly, I find it a bit rude. It makes it seem like you don't care about the problem enough to type something out yourself. Airplaneman 02:26, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

(edit conflict) WP:DTTR is a essay, not policy.--moɳo 02:30, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes, but it is also a widely used essay and it is generally considered rude to template an experienced editor. Going out of one's way to be civil never hurts. PrincessofLlyr royal court 02:54, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

←Re-phrased.--moɳo 23:06, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Inherent notability is an essay, but that doesn't mean it should be discounted. You've been warned about misusing templates plenty of times, mono, when will you realize what you're doing? Follow common sense, please, not just policy. Just because this template wasn't really a "warning" doesn't make a difference, too. fetch·comms 00:10, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Btw, edit summaries are crucial.--moɳo 03:27, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
It might have something to do with your "sly" attempt to diminish my comments at RFA by removing the "#", see [2]. Furthermore, there is no excuse for the snide and supercilious tone of your commentary. So I supported the man, does that upset you, sir? Next thing I know you are templating me for some edit summary thing.

Btw, not engaging in edit stalking and harrassment is crucial. Please Back off. Sapporod1965 (talk) 03:31, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

I assure you that was an accident with the WikiEd script. I apologize for that; I was meaning to reply. You should always make sure you describe your edit so people can tell what you actually did. Perhaps I should have phrased my response more accurately; I was relying on WP:SARCASAM to come into play. Just because you like an editor (irl or not) doesn't mean they are a good candidate for the job. Awesomeness isn't exactly a quality that the community looks for in admins (even though it is an added bonus!) Quoting from the page, detailed explanations behind your position will have more impact than positions with no explanations or simple comments such as "yep", "no way" and "as per." and Certain comments may be discounted if there are suspicions of fraud; these may be the contributions of very new editors, sockpuppets, and meatpuppets. I feel that you rationale would have been discounted by a crat if the RfA hadn't been closed per WP:NOTNOW/WP:SNOW and I wished to point that out.--moɳo 03:41, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Must I remind you of Codedon again? Stop calling people frauds unless you have evidence. Anyone can offer opinions at RfA, however meaningless you feel they are. Just like ageism might be ridiculous to some and perfectly rational to others. You're not the crat, if it's obviously not a strong rationale, they'd see. Because they're crats. fetch·comms 00:04, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Don't mention Codedon. Poor crats...--moɳo 00:05, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

WP:APPLE shortcuts

Why? I routinely use WP:MAC for convenience. The others also redirect to the page. Removing doesn't do the project any good. Please explain. Airplaneman 04:05, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

As discussed on WT:APPLE, WP:MAC is becoming a task force and will redirect there. If you have any objections, please bring them up there.--moɳo 04:06, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
It's been the project's shortcut since 2005, it should probably be discussed before it is repurposed. –xenotalk 04:21, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Please restore the new section link. Editors who wish to start a new section on your talk page should not be forced to read your talk page header and then click on the + sign. This will confuse both new and old editors alike. It is an inconvenience to them and will waste their time. Because both the + sign and the new section tab lead to the same link, there is no difference if either one is used. Why do you want people to use the + link? Cunard (talk) 01:42, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

I doubt any of us will go and vandalise your page, especially with the big scary notice about sticking a notice on our pages and getting us blocked (something I love doing to vandals; if I think the vandal is likely to keep vandalising, I literally keep refreshing their contribs until they do, then revert and warn them; it pretty fun) Brambleclawx 1:39 am, Today (UTC+1)
You are exempted from the notice; I like doing that too until they find WP:STALK. :(--moɳo 1:50 am, Today (UTC+1)
I don't think that's a violation of WP:STALK if it's to deal with vandalism, is it? Brambleclawx 1:55 am, Today (UTC+1)
I don't think that's violation. And you wouldn't have to be stalking them - you be RCP-ing and just happen to hit their edits each time. Reverting vandalism is pretty much always good. I've seen insult collections before, but never really interested in having one myself. I have not heard anything about the "potential" Warriors movie, but that sounds pretty unlikely. "I am looking forward to you vandalizing this page so I can revert you, stick a ugly notice on your talkpage, and get you blocked.

Wow.... Btw, "All comments by Mono are a work in progress and can be changed at any moment" isn't right, you should not change your comments after you've made them (save for fixing grammar, spelling, etc.), and especially not if they've already been replied to. Indenting is used for that. Cheers, fetch·comms 03:37, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Not true: you can and should change or even delete your own comments if they are uncivil as they stand. There are various ways of making sure that other editors are aware that this has happened e.g. using strike-through, replacing the comments with "[comment modified/deleted by poster]" or some such so that the rest of the discussion makes sense. However, changing your own comments without explanation to make it appear you said something else is fraudulent, I quite agree --Jubileeclipman 16:52, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
See Wikipedia:Thread-mode Disclaimer.--moɳo 16:56, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
That's not even an essay! I was thinking of Wikipedia:Civility#Removing_uncivil_comments and Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#Editing_comments, the first being part of Policy, and the second being part of a Behavioural Guideline. We could all learn from those, now I think on... --Jubileeclipman 17:10, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you.

Hi, Mono. I just felt the urge to delete this forum you've got at the bottom of this page. Why did you put "I am looking forward to you vandalizing this page so I can revert you, stick a ugly notice on your talkpage, and get you blocked. Go on! You know you want to!" on your userpage? Why are you encouraging the damn vandals? This seems to be a serious breach of Wikipedia:Don't feed the trolls. You ought to know better than that. Also, what the hell is this? That's pure MySpacing, I tell you. The trout bullshit at the bottom is plain stupid. You've been acting very immaturely the past couple days. Your last 11 edits were in userspace, and none of them were made productively in the interest of improving this encyclopedia. If you continue with your sophomoric behavior, I assure you that your presence here will be banished until you are willing to make useful content contributions. Have a good day. Lawlar (talk) 05:02, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Dude, cool off. Although I don't agree with mono on everything, I do on this one. Take a look at WP:DTTR for starters. Wikipedia isn't a job. It's OK to have fun once in a while - yes, that includes jokes. As long as established editors continue to contribute greatly to content and other areas of WP, their presence is appreciated. Only once they use this site mostly for things other than improving the encyclopedia can they be warned. Mono actively usefully contributes to countless article-related areas including by not limited to AFC and AFD, having a total of over 1100 article-space contributions. I suggest you read up on some of the policy posted on your page by Brambleclawx (who was nice enough to welcome you) and others and begin to contribute usefully to articles as well. WP:MYSPACE pertains to purely off-topic discussion of our real lives. This clearly hasn't happened. Knock off the insults and consider - if you can't be relatively civil, Wikipedia isn't the place for you. Airplaneman 22:18, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thou should be more civilith. I would like to dispute that I will be "banished" and that my last 11 edits were in the userspace. Instead they were in the user talk space. Thanks.--moɳo 16:56, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Also, @Jubilee restored the discussion as it was about Wikipedia.--moɳo 16:59, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Mono. Are you learning Shakespeare in school? The discussion was not "about Wikipedia".

  • "Nice one. !!!! (lol)" from Jubileeclipman. Are you guys playing a game here – who can deface Mono's userpage with the most creative lines? That's hardly about Wikipedia or in the interest of improving Wikipedia.
  • "Like my little gift?" from Mono. Why are you playing with warn templates – playful revenge perhaps?

Now switching over to what I deleted on the other page. From "Indeed, Catman" on, it was all social networking.

  • "Oh no. Whatever shall we call you now?"
  • "Gotta read this [link to random news article]"
  • "Wow - that's insane! I really think we should create a blog or something for more off-topic things such as this." I'm not criticizing this comment. Thank you Airplaneman for realizing the obvious.
  • "I have a twitter called SuperAirplane." How is that relevant to Wikipedia?
  • "Anyway, that's enough MySpacing for today." from Jubileeclipman. You even admit it.
  • The excessive use of smileys is ridiculous.
  • "Anyone fancy a game of Baganga, BTW..?" Is that helping Wikipedia, you guys playing a game of Baganga? Lawlar (talk) 05:46, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Here's the difference between our discussions and MySpacing: we work. In between our discussions we are working on WP. And generally at least half or more of our discussions are related to WP. Airplaneman's comment about Twitter was along the lines of whether or not there were any off-WP places we could talk. Jubilee's comment about Baganga is about an article that was recently deleted. It had to go through AfD, so we were rather relieved that it finally got deleted. Now, Myspacey or not, it is generally considered rude to delete others' talk page discussions. Also, you still have not answered how you ended up on our pages. I would like to know that please. Thank you for responding to our comments. PrincessofLlyr royal court 13:10, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes.--moɳo 16:57, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi Mono, do you actually read notices before they become archived? You voted:

  • undefined

in this AfD. --Pgallert (talk) 12:04, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Thought you had fixed this, after being notified of it earlier? Huh. Oh, and I'm going to email you tomorrow or something, when I have the time, so early pingz. fetch·comms 20:37, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
I have stopped using it. A re-write is in progress. I'm confused why you want to email me.--moɳo 20:45, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, it might be to your disliking. But I feel an urge to do so, and I would now, but I'm too busy. fetch·comms 00:32, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Brotherly advice

I think you should drop this "vandalise my page" thing, Mono. Several editors of high standing have now commented in several places that it just isn't helpful. For my part, it feels as if you are just being provocative just to make a point i.e. you are being WP:POINTy. Go out for a long walk or buy a new hat or something, anything but edit WP, then come back refreshed and thinking about other things (the fact that your hat looks bloody awful now you try it on at home, for example!). It actually works, trust me --Jubileeclipman 21:30, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

See this edit.--moɳo 21:32, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
I think it's best if you just remove the whole thing, or place it somewhere less visible, and so therefore less likely to actually encourage vandalism (say, your user page edit notice). And I think, it'd be best if we all cut back on the commenting a bit (my edit count in the user talk space has ballooning somewhat). Brambleclawx 21:37, 17 May 2010 (UTC)\
Sounds good.--moɳo 21:45, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
I am glad it took me 20 minutes to write my reply! I also think that what the Cat says sounds good. This is what I was going to post, I still think it contains useful advice alongside my own admission of guilt:

Yes but it still says "I am looking forward to you vandalizing this page so I can revert you, stick a ugly notice on your talkpage, and get you blocked." Fair's fair, I did "vandalise" your talk page so I am hardly whiter than white here; however, since then I have been getting on with several thing IRL and have adopted a new editor. What do you expect she would have thought if my page said "Vandalise my page... if you dare" or whatever? She'd probably have run a mile! That's actually why I archived my talk page: your over-the-top though tongue-in-cheek warning looked really bad... Seriously: don't ask for a kicking or you will get one.

Let's move on now, as the Cat says, given that you have removed the notice --Jubileeclipman 21:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

←All better.  !!!! (moɳo 23:54, 17 May 2010 (UTC))

Table trouble

The table at Macintosh#Product line has a box of text in the middle of servers that I don't like. I think it would look better if the Mac mini box and Xserve box met halfway in the middle. This means making them three columns wide, and everything else 2 columns wide, but I can't figure out how to make it work. Can you? HereToHelp (talk to me) 23:15, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Take a look at it now. Is that what you wanted?--moɳo 23:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Yup, I fixed it :) Airplaneman 03:16, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Excellent, thank you. (Also, I think you're missing a </tag>, because the curly font continues below the edit window. Or is that the point?) HereToHelp (talk to me) 20:42, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
That's the point.  :)--moɳo 23:40, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

TelCoNaSpVe here

AWWW! Why'd you do that for? I thought that I could edit that page.
And why did you put everything in italics on the edit page anyway? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 05:00, 18 May 2010 (UTC) just droppin' by!

Not that page. I meant the "User Page".--moɳo 16:44, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

As a side observation, why did you trout yourself? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 04:26, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Subsubsection

Oh, did you have a chance to look at this here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TeleComNasSprVen (talkcontribs)

No, however I just looked it over. You want to create it, right? It fails WP:NM, as it has no statement of notability.--moɳo 23:48, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Also, your refs are not cited correctly. Please reformat (use WP:refToolbar for help).--moɳo 23:55, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Hope you don't mind, Mono: I fixed your link. There are two versions of refTB: one for the old skin one for the new. The above link takes you to the dab page --Jubileeclipman 00:47, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! I also fixed you grammar.--moɳo 00:48, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Nothing to fix now...  :( Add except this: --Jubileeclipman 01:01, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
BTW, how did you get your edit page to display all the text in Segoe Script? --Jubileeclipman 01:05, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Ah... it's Lucinda Handwriting. Probably your edit notice span thingy running over to the rest of the page --Jubileeclipman 01:11, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
I looked back at one of my references (the 'Grabesmond discography') and it notes that one of its members, probably Peter, was once in a band called Abigor which I've discovered appears to be quite notable on Wikipedia, fulfilling at least one of the WP:NM criteria. As for the reformatting, I will probably revise the article next week: I'm way too tired right now and I probably need to lay off some of the wiki. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 04:26, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

The Wikipedia Signpost: 17 May 2010

You uploaded this logo with a copyright notice, when in reality it's PD because it's just "iPad" typed using the Myriad Pro typeface. Therefore, {{PD-textlogo}} would be a more appropriate license. ~NerdyScienceDude () 01:28, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Thank you.--moɳo 16:01, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Will you agree to a voluntary restriction on relisting/closing AfDs? Please reply at User talk:Tim Song#Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Britney Spears doll. Cunard (talk) 07:31, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:IPad logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. moɳo 16:00, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

SPI

Lawler has now written a defence over at the SPI. I personally think you are way off track with this but the admins can deal with it guess --Jubileeclipman 00:13, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

I am relinquishing judgement; honestly, I don't believe it is possible to withdraw. Lawlar could be lying; his defense sounds quite strong though. I'm willing to WP:AGF and move on; Lawlar made a mistake and I think it was justified to inquire about status. A user with 13 edits citing policy is rare; not impossible and I was suspicious as it seemed targeted at me. Anyway, I'll let a clerk sort through it.--moɳo 00:18, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

AfDs

I have replied at User talk:Tim Song#Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Britney Spears doll. Cunard (talk) 02:33, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Nice, long retirement

Hey, that was a long retirement! It's been ages. Wikipedia wasn't the same without you. Even thousands of edits later, we missed you; glad to have you back. Airplaneman 03:40, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Mono. I have restored the content you had at User talk:Mono/Editnotice and User:Mono/Latte before you "retired". I was rather shocked by that retired banner. At the advent of your being productive, you departed from this site. I'm glad that you returned because I was amazed by the quality of your writing when you apply yourself instead of socializing all day. Thank you, Mono, for reforming yourself. It was a pleasure working with you. I hope to see you in the future. Lawlar (talk) 04:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, Lawlar!--moɳo 04:14, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I restored your user page. ~NerdyScienceDude () 04:24, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Mono, I believe that Jubileeclipman meant that he wanted to welcome you, not test the template. Jubileeclipman, I don't think that was entirely appropriate for Mono. Mono has been here for quite a while, so it's condescending to tell Mono, "Welcome to Wikipedia". Lawlar (talk) 04:30, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

I know Jubilee decently well; it was not bad faith. Welcome back might have been more appropriate.--moɳo 04:31, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Welcome back --Jubileeclipman 04:39, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

I hope this welcoming doesn't escalate beyond productive intentions. Jubileeclipman, please stop welcoming Mono with that condescending message. Why don't we all work on articles? Lawlar (talk) 04:40, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Oh lighten up. It was meant as a joke: he had only been gone 2 seconds don't forget and he did template me with a silly warning. Anyway enough as you say. Bed for me... --Jubileeclipman 04:42, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
