Report of Joint Board on Interstate Highways October 30, 1925

That report is available in its entirety on Wikisource at s:Report of Joint Board on Interstate Highways October 30, 1925. NE2 uploaded a partial scan of the one appendix to Commons at some point, but we've got the full report transcribed now. I repointed the citation on U.S. Route 270 (Georgia–North Carolina) to link there and corrected details of the citation in the process. Imzadi 1979  04:24, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

@Imzadi1979: thank you for your edits on the page. On the references that have a "via", shouldn't the link be added? Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 14:23, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
Via shouldn't really be an external link. We should be limiting the external links within citations to the link we'd want a reader to click to access the source. Externally linking other parts of a citation invites readers to click the wrong link and end up someplace other than the specific source. I also minimize the number of other wikilinks within a citation for that reason. We want to steer a reader to the right destination for many of the same reasons why we limit the number of wikilinks in running prose. Imzadi 1979  15:48, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
