There is NO SUCH THING as Australian rules soccer' (sic). Soccer is an abreviation for Association as in association football. Aussie Rules is not association football. Please stop trying imposing your blinkered cultural references on the rest of us. Jooler 03:34, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Umm, okay. I just thought that if it's on a page that tells what "football" means in different places, it's redundant to say "Football means Australian rules football". Calm down... Mourn 17:35, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
You've just done it again! - on Australian rules football. It said Aussie Rules is a code of football and you disambiguated it to association football. I repeat Aussie rules is NOT a form of association football. Jooler 20:27, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, because football (if you bothered to look at the page...) is about historical contexts and whatnot. Mourn 20:48, 11 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, and moving of TOS episode articles

[edit]

Hello! I hope you're well. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your note! As per the Wikipedia:WikiProject Star Trek#Articles convention, I moved all Star Trek original series episode articles (no others yet) to locales whose names are consistent with those of the other series:

Many of the article names were previously neither here nor there. Whenever there is ambiguity or inconsistency in capitalisation of words (and there remains alot in the articles), I've deferred to episode entries in The Star Trek Encyclopedia for authoritative article names. (FYI: in the actual episodes, the titles were all upper case and enclosed in quotations: e.g., "FOR THE WORLD IS HOLLOW AND I HAVE TOUCHED THE SKY".)

Consequently, I prevail upon you and other Wikipedians who are so inclined to rewikify terms or Memory Alpha links (e.g., that I've missed) to the moved article names . . . there are alot!

Let me know if you've any questions, and thanks for your co-operation! E Pluribus Anthony 03:50, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
