Weasel words

[edit]

Applying {{weasel-section}} to the Reaction sections of those articles is a welcome alternative to the outright removal of large amounts of copy. However, it would be most helpful to the other editors if you could follow it up with a post to each articles' talk page that outlines where exactly you feel the problems lie (what's a weasel word to one person might pass unchallenged by another). Just a heads up about it. EVula // talk // // 18:23, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto, actually, there is no point to putting up the weasel tag without a comment in the talk page as otherwise (considering it is a featured article), we have no idea what you are talking about. The Filmaker 18:31, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've replied to your messages in the talk page of The Phantom Menace article. The Filmaker 19:45, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You must discuss your changes, if you wish for your edits to be taken into Wikipedia you must reach consensus with other users. We have offered plenty of explanation, you have refused to refute our statements. The Filmaker 00:15, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. This also applies for the articles for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheRealFennShysa (talkcontribs).

STAR WARS PREQUEL ARTICLES

[edit]

Not only are there many issues with these articles, but there are just as many chronies, some with ties to admins, who are intent on forcing their opinions by literally guarding these articles 24/7. I suspect they will eventually bring in an Admin who is friendly to them and have me banned, so I wanted to get my story down on this page.

I have made my points on the discussion pages of those articles, at which point I was simply told by user TheFilmaker that he would not let me make those edits. It's a constant revert process. If I don't revert, they will simply keep their opinions in the article, which is what they want. If I keep reverting, I will violate the 3rr rule. And sadly they can avoid the 3rr rule by communicating with friends through their talk page to space out their reverts.

This can all be substantiated by checking the discussion page, their talk pages, and the article itself. I have attempted to add warning tags such as the weasel words tag accompanied by discussion, which have been swiftly edited by user TheFilmaker.

So, I have made many attempts at resolving this issue.

I guess if you are allowed to get your "story down". I should be allowed as well. I never in the slightest simply told you that I wouldn't let you make those edits. I did however tell you that your edits were unfounded or the reasoning was simply incorrect. Therefore, any reasonable editor would revert these edits. I happen to be a reasonable editor. As for the tags, they are used to promote discussion. I doubt that you have even once posted on a discussion page that actually responds to my edits or anyone else who disagrees with you. That is not discussion and that is not resolving an issue. The Filmaker 21:16, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 15:25, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
