Please don't go and add repeated links to the SLQ blog through pages at enWP. External links are meant to be directly and closely pertinent to the subject matter. In this case, it would seem that the SLQ is relevant, or places that may list blogs at libraries etc. more detail as Wikipedia:External links. References that meet the criteria at Wikipedia:Citing sources would see repeated use again as long as pertinent and credible sources. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:40, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited George Green (chaplain), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diaries. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WWI directory
[edit]Hi there. Apologies for the impersonal nature of this post. I am sending this short note to a number of people who were involved (some still are) with World War I topics, letting them know about a WWI projects directory that I've started (in my userspace for now). Would you be able to look and see if there is anything you might be able to add or advice on what is most useful? If you want any follow ups, please put your name on the talk page. Many thanks. Wikimedian in Residence BoF at Wikimania 2017
[edit]Hello!
My name is David Alves (User:Horadrim~usurped), and I'm an Wikipedian in Residence at RIDC NeuroMat (User:Horadrim). I've reach your contact through the Wikimedian in residence page in Outreach. As you may know, Wikimania 2017 is coming! I am here because, as a fellow WiR, I believe this would be a great opportunity for us to share experiences, discuss difficulties and exchange solutions, creating a community among us capable of supporting in other projects that would benefit from residents. In that sense, I have submitted a proposal of a Birds of a Feather activity to Wikimania that you can check out here. I hope to count with your support in this project and would like to invite you to join us if you participate in Wikimania. In case of any doubts, please feel free to contact me, either in my talk pages or by e-mail at david.alvesoutlook.com.
Thank you very much! Horadrim~usurped (talk) 00:33, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
