The article Stages & Stereos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable band lacking ghits and Gnews or substance. Article references are trivial in nature.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 01:59, 17 October 2013 (UTC) reddogsix (talk) 01:59, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Stages & Stereos. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. —cyberbot I NotifyOnline 04:22, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stages & Stereos

[edit]

stop I have reverted your addition of a speedy deletion template to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stages & Stereos. Discussions at Articles for Deletion are, unless there is a wildly clear consensus, left open for a minimum of one week; even if a week had passed, an AfD at which no discussion has yet taken place would not be considered as "consensus having been reached". And when the AfD closes, regardless of the result, it will be closed by an administrator - unless they were created as obvious disruption, AfD discussions are not deleted when they are closed. I understand that you're eager to have your article kept, but attempts to disrupt the deletion process will only result in your being blocked for disruption, please allow the discussion to play out under policy. - The Bushranger One ping only 19:10, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. duffbeerforme (talk) 04:04, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon A tag has been placed on Stages & Stereos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. duffbeerforme (talk) 01:52, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
