[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Yintaɳ 20:43, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Possibly unfree File:Snakeskin guppy.jpg
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Snakeskin guppy.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --— Huntster (t @ c) 05:33, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
References and punctuation
[edit]Just a note that, when you are adding references to articles, please place them after the punctuation, rather than before, as you did with this edit. Thanks! — Huntster (t @ c) 22:07, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - To add, I will comment that your entire contribution history has been adding links to your 2 websites fancyguppy.webs.com and www.greenplants.ca . These contributions have been reverted. Do not continue to use Wikipedia to promote your sites. Neil916 (Talk) 09:48, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
The article Allen Tipton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence that this person meets WP:N. Claims can not be verified or seem to be very minor in reality. He should be famous as a magician, but no evidence for this could be found online. Fails WP:BIO.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 07:45, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Allen Tipton. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Clivia-GreenPlants.ca.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
