CKXL

Just so you know, the old Calgary CKXL hasn't actually gone dark — it's still in operation as CKIS-FM ([1]). Our practice on Wikipedia is to put a station's entire history in its current or last call sign, whenever possible, rather than doing separate articles every time a call sign changes. Thank you for your help in this article. It was very late, when I wrote it. So I made some small mistakes.

I wish you a nice day. --AndreaMimi (talk) 09:01, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Richard Laviolette AfD

Your opinion on the AfD for Richard Laviolette was "weak delete". I have added further minor sources to his article since you voted:

  • his placement on Canadian campus charts
  • info from an interview two interviews in Queen's University's The Journal
  • mention in the Kitchener Record

These are not the type of sources you requested, but it may be enough to sway you from "weak delete" to "keep". — Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 22:44, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Woodward Hill Cemetery, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Woodward Hill Cemetery seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Woodward Hill Cemetery, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 02:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

re:Simon G. Atkins Academic and Technology High School

Hello NellieBly. I just checked and Juannoyola blanked Simon G. Atkins Academic & Technology High School (diff), which I reverted. Note that the user also created an alternate version of the page using "and" instead of "&". Check the user's contributions page to see what I mean. Cheers. -sesuPRIME 06:47, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

I, too, was confused when I first got your message. Glad it was cleared up. Cheers! -sesuPRIME 07:00, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Your request for rollback

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! Thanks

In advance, thank you for the following:

However, I declined this at AIV because of the following:

User has been incorrectly or insufficiently warned. Re-report if the user resumes vandalising after being warned sufficiently. Hasn't quite violated the warning amount yet, but if they vandalize more, re-report them immediately. ceranthor 12:01, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

You can see the record of this here, I had to remove it from the noticeboard before a flood of reports came in. If that user vandalizes again, warn them with the above template, and if again after that, immediately report them. Keep up the fight, ceranthor 12:23, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

christian fiction

This material, especially for earlier authors, is very difficult to find, and we've had trouble documenting it. The only really satisfactory documentation is reviews in appropriate magazines or newspapers. If you know a librarian or bookseller who works with these titles, perhaps he can help. I'm a librarian, but this is not at all my area. DGG ( talk ) 20:01, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Moonie AfD

The article has undergone a significant rewrite and expansion since you commented in the AfD. Perhaps you could take another look at the article and revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moonies? Thank you for your time, Cirt (talk) 06:47, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Great work.

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Well, I've just been coming across your name on Huggle... beating me to everything. Keep up the good work. (C/SSG)G2sai(talk) 23:37, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

I made a mistake while vandal fighting and I accidently reverted your edit to Seal Beach, California and warned you. Sorry about that. Cheers --[midnight comet] [talk] 21:23, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Beechwood F.C.

Revert your changes on Beechwood F.C. or else......all information was factual and enlightening and your changes have proved to be quite unconstructive.....yes, quite unconstructive indeed. 87.38.200.58 (talk) 13:11, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Selfridges do not sell fridges

Why was this reverted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.11.154.142 (talk) 18:28, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks...

...for all your hard work on reverting vandalism and non-helpful edits. I've noticed your name quite frequently on my watchlist lately and wanted you to know your efforts are appreciated. Keep an eye on Scarlett Johannson, too, if you would. I recently worked this through a WP:GAR and greatly expanded it, but it remains a frequent vandalism target. Again, thanks! Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:33, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

The first time I worked on a featured article, I was just a helper to someone much more experienced (on Ryan White). When Gene Wilder was taken to good article, I worked with another person to get the GA status. Then one day during the Christmas holidays last year, I decided to make an awards page for No Country for Old Men. From the point it was created until it passed Featured list, I think it was about 15 days. Someone said that was a record. The weather was bad, I was stuck at home and thought, "Eh, why not?" So when the Johansson article came up for review and it wasn't going to pass again, I decided to expand it and I've considered nominating it for FA from GA, but I've not been that brave. You can do it!! I've been brushing up Anne Hathaway so it doesn't lose its GA rating. It just takes sticking your neck out! Thanks again. Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:17, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
