Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "NerfersUnited", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it may represent an organization instead of an individual (see WP:ORGNAME and WP:ISU). If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing.

Please also note that contributions should cite reliable sources for verifiability. Please have a look at WP:CTW for some general guidance. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 08:58, 2 August 2014 (UTC) Information icon Hello, I'm Piguy101. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nerf, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Nerf Longshot CS-6 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Nerf Longshot CS-6 has been reverted.
Your edit here to Nerf Longshot CS-6 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://nerf.wikia.com/wiki/Longshot_CS-6) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:49, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia. Creating articles on individual Nerf blasters is unnecessary on Wikipedia, as there is always Nerf Wiki for that. Areaseven (talk) 05:32, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse / Username

[edit]

Hi there - thanks for your question at the Teahouse. New questions should go at the top of the page, and I have gone ahead and moved your question for you. Just a note that this is contrary to most discussion pages, where new sections go at the bottom of the page.

As for your username, you must file a request to have your username changed per the instructions at the top of this page (see Wikipedia:Changing username), or risk getting blocked. Usernames should only represent individuals, not companies. Thanks! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 05:51, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nerf range articles

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Nerf Recon CS-6, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that article should have two or more reliable sources, and a fan wiki is not considered to be a reliable source.

Creation of individual articles for particular ranges and models of Nerf gun were discussed at Talk:N-Strike last year. If the N-Strike range doesn't merit an article, a sub-range doesn't either.--McGeddon (talk) 16:59, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, you've recreated the old N-Strike article as well. I'll bring up a formal merger discussion there. --McGeddon (talk) 17:05, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why you're trying to blank Areaseven's comment on my talk page (I read it and replied yesterday, and like all users I get a big alert whenever someone changes my talk page one way or another), but please stop doing it. --McGeddon (talk) 08:29, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reference Errors on 11 August

[edit]

Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:40, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don't delete references unless you're removong the material because it's inappropriate. References are not "unneeded content." Read WP:V and WP:CITE. Also, check you edits after saving them to make sure you didn't screw something up. If you messed something up and can't fix it, undo the edit and ask for help on the talk page. 66.87.133.48 (talk) 02:26, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, NerfersUnited. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Nerf Longshot CS-6, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Salimfadhley (talk) 20:59, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
