User talk:Nicolae Coman
Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Nicolae Coman! I am Flex and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

George Mackenzie/Richard Bright
[edit]Hi, I saw your question about Richard Bright going on an expedition with a George Mackenzie. This George Steuart Mackenzie was a chemist, geologist and antiquarian, looks like a notable man (entry in the ODNB). Born 1780, died 1848. Fellow of the Royal Society. DuncanHill (talk) 04:11, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, I could email you the ODNB article if you like - would need you to email me your email address through Wikipedia. DuncanHill (talk) 04:17, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I've sent it! DuncanHill (talk) 04:26, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- No problem - the ODNB is a great resource for biographies of British people, and I have access with my local library membership. The best place on Wikipedia to ask about this sort of thing is the Reference desk - but any time you need an entry from the ODNB then do just ask me, I'd be glad to help. DuncanHill (talk) 04:34, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'll gladly help with anything I can - but I will not be on much for the next two weeks as I shall be away from home. DuncanHill (talk) 04:38, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nicolae Davidescu, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/152648/Nicolae-Davidescu. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:10, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
- It looks like you may have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia, at Nicolae Davidescu. Please do not add such material without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. – Toon(talk) 10:11, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
External links
[edit]I reverted a bunch of link additions you have recently made because they went against our guidelines. Links that are reliable sources may be added to the content of the article and cited as references, but generally most of the links you have been adding here are inappropriate for the "External links" sections they have been added to. [edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Aromatherapy. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 16:23, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Robert Cristian Trif
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Robert Cristian Trif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
