I quick note, I'm sorry that you've had such an uphill battle so far. These are fantastically sourced and contextualized looks at these written works, and they are more welcome than your experience so far might indicate. The good news? You've far surpassed 10 edits and 4 days, so you technically don't need to submit through the Articles for creation process anymore. -- Zanimum (talk) 13:37, 19 April 2020 (UTC) Thank you.[reply]

Hello, Odontocetes

Thank you for creating Reasons for not eating animal food.

User:Animalparty, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Nice start. I think the "Text comparison" is a bit too much primary source presentation for a general encyclopedia article, and perhaps could be simply transcribed to Wikisource.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Animalparty}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Figs or Pigs?, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 21:54, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Have you ever come across a copy of John E. B. Mayor Plain Living and High Thinking?. It is apparently a collection of his vegetarian essays but I doubt hardly any copies were ever published. It's probably one of the rarest books out there. I have never been able to find it. Psychologist Guy (talk) 21:53, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

From the Dictionary of National Biography "He set forth his views on diet first in 'Modicus Cibi Medicus Sibi, or Nature her Own Physician' (1880); and subsequently in the selected addresses published in 'Plain Living and High Thinking' (1897)."
