[edit]I'm one of the editors here who have worked most on academic biographies. It's great to have some more of them, especially in the humanities. But our usual goal is to write them a little more fully than you have been doing. A bio in an encyclopedia should be written as paragraphs, not isolated sequences. It should include all academic degrees, with the dates, the name of the doctoral advisor and the title of the thesis, the sequence of positions, with dates. It should then continue with a description of the person's research, indicating the books, in full bibliographic format, preferably referenced to worldcat, including links to all available published reviews of them in reliable sources, and, if relevant, the 3 or 4 most cited papers, and conclude with national level prizes or distinctions such as editorships of a major journal. It should contain links to appropriate WP articles about the subjectsstudied and the universities. Please complete these articles, and when you write others, write them in a format which is appropriate for an encyclopedia , not just for a directory . DGG ( talk ) 03:48, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
