Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ahmad ibn Mājid, you may be blocked from editing. You are edit warring and can/will be blocked if you continue. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 05:16, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- You also wrote the musandam article? No wonder! Is your name even alexander? Please provide evidence to what you publish that is not only from the UAE Orelic (talk) 05:21, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- I know you are an emirate discuised as a foreigner Orelic (talk) 05:22, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Ahmad ibn Mājid shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. . 331dot (talk) 09:34, 19 July 2023 (UTC)- This is a legal threat. That is not permitted here. We cannot stop you from using the legal processes of your country, but you cannot make legal threats on Wikipedia nor can you edit if you have a legal action underway. You can pursue your grievances using the legal system of your country or using Wikipedia processes, but not both. You must clearly withdraw any and al legal threats to be unblocked. 331dot (talk)°
- If you can't assume good faith of other editors (as you are required to do) and just accuse anyone who disagrees with you as having malicious motives, then your editing career here will be short. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and that includes interacting with other editors who can, and will, disagree with you from time to time. You must learn how to behave in a civil manner and leave emotional reactions out of your communication when trying to resolve disputes. Focus on the content, not the contributor(s). --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:40, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
So what if I make a threat? And that was not a threat that was a statement. Orelic (talk) 15:36, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
- You are not permitted to edit Wikipedia if you have a legal action in progress, or say that you intend to do so. 331dot (talk) 16:12, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
- Duly noted. In the case where I withdraw the legal action, am I allowed to edit Wikipedia then?? 5.162.31.241 (talk) 03:47, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- Using this IP to continue edit warring at Ahmed Ibn Majid in violation of your block is really not going to help your case, IMHO. Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 08:44, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- You'll need to do that, but will also now need to discuss your sockpuppetry and general attitude. I've blocked the IP. 331dot (talk) 09:46, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- So what happens when my ip is boocked? Orelic (talk) 04:59, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
- That can be removed when this block is removed. You may request unblock when you are ready to say that you are no longer engaged in any legal action related to Wikipedia or its editors and unequivocally withdraw any and all legal threats. 331dot (talk) 10:32, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
