User talk:Patel almitra
Hello Mrs Almitra H. Patel and welcome to Wikipedia. I am pleased to see that you have started an article. Given your expertise, I am sure that you would have access to publications on the topic of your article. It would be good if you can use the <ref>reference</ref> tags after the sentences to show what publication supports the facts. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:34, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Hello & Welcome! I have reverted your recent change to Plastic recycling as there was no new page at the link provided, and a search for the page yielded no results. duff 11:53, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Plastic Recycling and the need for Bio-polymers in India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ♫Greatorangepumpkin♫Share–a–Power[citation needed] 12:00, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

How to verify copyright permission for article Plastic Recycling and the need for Bio-polymers in India
[edit]Hello, Patel almitra.
Thank you for your interest in donating material from http://www.almitrapatel.com/docs/055.doc to Wikipedia. Since we do not currently have a method in place to verify the identity of account holders at account creation, we must verify such donations through external processes. The article has been blanked to allow time for that verification to proceed.
The simplest way to verify is to place a release on that external website putting the material into public domain or co-licensing it under CC-BY-SA and GFDL, which permit modification and reuse, even commercially, as long as authorship credit is given. This release is irrevocable and must continue to be displayed, or the material may need to be removed. A statement such as the following would be sufficient: "The contents of this website (or page, if you are specifically releasing one section) are available for modification and reuse under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License 3.0 and the GNU Free Documentation License, unversioned with no invariant sections, front-cover texts, or back-cover texts." If you decide to take this route, please put a link to that release on Talk:Plastic Recycling and the need for Bio-polymers in India so we can restore the contents.
Alternatively, you may choose to send an e-mail to the Wikimedia Foundation from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL. There is a boilerplate release form at Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries which can be helpful. Please provide a clear link to the website in your e-mail and specify by name the articles on Wikipedia in which the material is being used. Once your e-mail is received and processed by a member of the Communications Committee, the article's contents will be restored if your release is legally sufficient. Please make a note that you've done this on Talk:Plastic Recycling and the need for Bio-polymers in India to help guard against premature deletion of the page. You can compose a note or very simply paste the following on the talk page, brackets and all: {{OTRS pending}}
If you decide you don't wish to release the material into public domain or under the terms of CC-BY-SA and GFDL, you are welcome to rewrite the text from scratch at this temporary page. As long as the material is otherwise compliant with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, it will be used to replace the previous contents. Please leave a note at Talk:Plastic Recycling and the need for Bio-polymers in India saying you have done so.
We apologize for the additional steps necessary, but as copyright is a matter of legal concern, we must ensure that we not only protect the rights of copyright holders, but also guard the Wikipedia project against inadvertent infringement.
Before verifying permission, please first review the material to ensure that is compliant with Wikipedia's requirements for verifiability and neutrality and does not contain "original research". (If you are closely related to the subject matter, you may also want to read our conflict of interest guidelines; if you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you should review Wikipedia:Starting an article or Wikipedia:Your first article.) Even if permission is verified, material may be modified or removed if it is otherwise inconsistent with our policies and guidelines.
The article will be revisited in about a week to see what additional steps have been taken or may be necessary. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to let me know at my talk page. We also have a help desk which is typically manned around the clock by volunteers.
Thank you. --Dpmuk (talk) 16:59, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- The same concerns and so the same procedure also applies at Solid waste policy in India. Dpmuk (talk) 16:59, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- It still says all rights reserved at http://www.almitrapatel.com/ However if you follow the OTRS procedure mentioned abouve you can prove that you own copyright by writing from the email address listed on that web site. I reckon that your new article should be called plastic recycling in India to make it an encyclopedic topic rather than a point of view or proposal. I cannot see what you have done to address any references as you mentioned on my talk page. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:54, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi. User:Voceditenore has given you a detailed assessment of this article's needs. You do not seem to have understood that it needs to be completely rewritten. It must be written in a tone and style that is suitable for an encyclopedia. Although Wikipedia is the "encyclopedia anyone can edit", before an article can be published there are a many hurdles to jump over before an article is ready. Please take the advice that Vociditenore has offered because he has spent a lot of time trying to help you and nobody is paid here for what we do. It's up to you to get that article up to scratch and then we will take another look. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:36, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
India and the environment
[edit]I see that you have encountered some of the complexities of editing Wikipedia. As an Indian with an interest in editing environmental articles I would hope that you are not dissuaded from making contributions. Some of the environmental article relating to India need work. Example are Environment of India and Environmental issues in India. There are many articles that are missing and as you point out the populous nature of India means that there is a need for these article. We need overview articles on Pollution in India, Water pollution in India, Climate change in India etc. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 19:49, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
