Question from CavsFan45 (16:25, 28 May 2024)

Are Mugshots allowed under Wikipedia's image policy? --CavsFan45 (talk) 16:25, 28 May 2024 (UTC)

@CavsFan45: I'm not too familiar with this, but I found WP:MUG, which may be useful. I would assume if its freely licensed and complies with WP:MUG, it should be acceptable. Thanks. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 21:34, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Question from Johnricart602 (13:06, 5 June 2024)

Good day I wanted to add my company to Wikipedia. How can I do that? --Johnricart602 (talk) 13:06, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

@Johnricart602: Hey, it is encouraged that you do NOT write an article about a company you are involved with. This is because you will likely introduce subconscious or conscious biases to the article due to your connection to it. If you decide to anyways, make sure it is created through the Articles for Creation process, the article is neutral, and that you properly declare your conflict of interest. Thoroughly read through the general notability guideline, as well as Wikipedia's core writing policies like WP:V, WP:NOT, and WP:NPOV. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 21:32, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Question from Lanelizard (03:34, 8 June 2024)

Hi! I have created a page but don't see how I can publish it in the primary encyclopedia. Do I need to make edits on articles (x10) in order for the article I created to be published? --Lanelizard (talk) 03:34, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

@Lanelizard: Hi there! Only autoconfirmed users can create pages. To be autoconfirmed, your account must be at least 4 days old and have made at least 10 edits. Non-autoconfirmed users can only create their pages through Wikipedia's review process, Articles for Creation. I see you've already done that, so you only need to wait for a reviewer to look over it. They are reviewed in no particular order, so it could be tomorrow or 3 months from now. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you! — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 15:54, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
