Question from Creator984640 on Fatima Mata National College (08:12, 19 April 2024)

Hlo mentor How can I add image and logo of the college to this page --Creator984640 (talk) 08:12, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

@Creator984640: Check out Wikipedia:Uploading images and Wikipedia:Image use policy as a start. In essence, if the logo is simple enough (only basic figures/text), you can claim it under public domain. If not, you may be able to claim it as fair use, but make sure you thoroughly read through the non free content guidelines first to understand if it qualifies. Finally, you can find a freely licensed picture online and upload it to COMMONS:, search commons for a pre-existing picture, or upload a picture yourself! Hope this helps. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 21:34, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

RFA2024 update: phase I concluded, phase II begins

Hi there! Phase I of the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review has concluded, with several impactful changes gaining community consensus and proceeding to various stages of implementation. Some proposals will be implemented in full outright; others will be discussed at phase II before being implemented; and still others will proceed on a trial basis before being brought to phase II. The following proposals have gained consensus:

See the project page for a full list of proposals and their outcomes. A huge thank-you to everyone who has participated so far :) looking forward to seeing lots of hard work become a reality in phase II. theleekycauldron (talk), via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:09, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Now is a good time to set goals for your article: What section needs the most improvement? Which sources remain unused? How can you best spend your time? Good luck and happy editing! Cheers from the judges, Femke, Casliber, Aza24. – Aza24 (talk) 02:28, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

Question from RBashota (19:09, 7 May 2024)

Greetings! I'm currently in the process of drafting an article about an Albanian writer. Would you mind guiding me through the process? --RBashota (talk) 19:09, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

@RBashota: Apologies for the late reply. I would be happy to help you! Do you have anything in specific you need help with?
To start out, I would recommend carrying out a source search. Search the writer's name and look for reliable sources (reputable newspapers, books, articles, etc.). Good places to start are google search, google news, books, etc. If you find that you have more than 2-3 high quality sources that discuss the subject in depth, you have enough material to pass the general notability guideline and can begin writing the article. Message me back once you are at this step.
Thanks — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 03:50, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Question from Recondo27 (02:15, 9 May 2024)

How can I start a wiki page for a person that doesn’t have one --Recondo27 (talk) 02:15, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Hi there! Since you are not autoconfirmed yet, you have to create a draft first, then it must be accepted by a reviewer. If you need any help with that, try reading this page, and read through Wikipedia's core principles, which can be accessed at WP:5P. Also, there are additional considerations that apply when writing about living people. Please read WP:BLP: essentially, our rules for what is allowed in an article is stricter. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 03:47, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
