User talk:Phonobase
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Luísa Maita, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.ilike.com/artist/Luisa+Maita. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Luísa Maita
[edit]A tag has been placed on Luísa Maita, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Luísa Maita. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:30, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Promotion, English, conflict of interest, and user account
[edit]I see that your user page is an advertisement in Portuguese for "Phonobase Music Services". Unfortunately this means that you are acting against several of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
- Having such promotional material on your user page is in conflict with the principal that Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion or advertising, and so it must not stay.
- This is English Wikipedia, and all contributions should be in English, so that all members of the community can understand them. For this reason I have taken the liberty of adding a Google English translation. This is a temporary measure so that while the promotional material is there other editors can assess it. Naturally when the original is removed the translation must be removed too.
- Since you appear to be editing on behalf of a company or organisation that works with or for Luísa Maita, you have a conflict of interest, and are not likely to be editing objectively. Editing of articles in which you may have a conflict of interest is strongly discouraged.
- Since your user name is the same as the name of a company, it seems that the account you are using represents that company. However, Wikipedia accounts are for individuals, not companies or organisations, so you must not continue to edit from this account.

FYI conflict of interest guideline
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia in Luísa Maita, User:Phonobase or other articles, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. You may also wish to consider changing your username, to avoid giving the impression that your account is to be used for promotional purposes. Regardless, doing so does not exempt you from the proscription against editing articles in which you have a conflict of interest. Thank you. – Athaenara ✉ 21:41, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
