The statistics lists in the article above (artists with most number-ones, artists with most weeks at number one, and songs with most weeks at number one) should be limited to ten entries ... more can be allowed if there is a tie for tenth place in a category. This is done at more recent decade lists of Billboard's Hot 100 number ones. Songs that have spent at least six weeks at number one in the 1980s total more than ten ... 14 actually (those with seven or more weeks at number one is less than ten, so that's why the ones with six weeks are also allowed). Your attempt to (re)add the songs spending five weeks at number one is unproductive, and makes the list too large. MPFitz1968 (talk) 17:06, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
