Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Wireless do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 15:43, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ginbot86 00:58, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Programmable Communicating Thermostat, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. Dawnseeker2000 01:36, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion

[edit]

I'm sorry for the brusque warning, but we're building an encyclopedia here, and lots of folks try to take advantage of the high visibility of this encyclopedia. Persons that are promoting bands, businesses, or other stuff aren't welcome to add inappropriate links or other disruptive content. You are absolutely welcome to help build the encyclopedia, but please stop adding links to this company. A better way to provide a source for these articles would be to use secondary sources; ones that not published by the company itself. Dawnseeker2000 01:40, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
