Valued Picture Barnstar | ||
What a fantastic action shot! How did you find it? Δπ (talk) 18:56, 7 February 2023 (UTC) |
- Thanks for the barnstar! I saw a news article with the picture and searched up the photographer's name, which led me to DVIDS. It's a pretty good source for US DOD and Coast Guard pictures. Rainclaw7 (talk) 19:45, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
Objects can occur
See here. But yeah, that may not occur to others, too, given how often it's associated with events. Thanks for fixing. InedibleHulk (talk) 00:42, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, it might be generally correct but this object "occurring" doesn't sound right. Rainclaw7 (talk) 00:43, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Matter of taste. In my opinion, it works for unexplained apparitions and happenstance, especially those that occur at or over a horizon, or as fleeting strange blips on a screen. I wouldn't say the mail occurs each morning, it just shows up, like a cat or the sun or whatnot familiar. Anyyway, just a nuance. The important thing, as you say, was the downing. Keep up the good work! InedibleHulk (talk) 01:39, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
