Ownership of articles and Bamnera

[edit]

Hi Rasik, please refrain from inserting references of yourself into Wikipedia articles as you have done here. There's no need to explicitly list yourself as an editor of an article as such things are already automatically covered by our Help:Page history feature. Please see our Wikipedia:Ownership of articles policy for further details. Thanks and happy editing! --  Netsnipe  ►  07:41, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Bamnera as you did for a second time here. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. And DO NOT use multiple accounts (i.e. User:Bamnera) to edit Wikipedia. Pick one account and stick with it or else you may be blocked for violating our Wikipedia:Sock puppetry policy. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  11:02, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're free to use Template:Maintained, but you may only do so on the article's talk page (i.e. Talk:Bamnera) and not within the article itself. --  Netsnipe  ►  11:10, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for your 3rd violation of the Wikipedia:Ownership of articles policy at the article Bamnera. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.  Netsnipe  ►  12:37, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please STOP

[edit]

Because of this edit, I've blocked your other account User:Bamnera because you are not permitted to use more than one account per Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. Now this is the 4th time I've had to warn you about violating Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. You do not own the article Bamnera, so please stop adding your own name and photo to it. This is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, not your own personal website. Go you local library and open up any encyclopedia and you will not see the author's name or photo appearing in any article. Their names are listed in a separate contributors index in the same way that editors on this website are listed in each article's page history. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask them, but do not ignore this final warning or else we will have no choice but to ban you from Wikipedia as what you were doing is tantamount to vandalism. --  Netsnipe  ►  06:55, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two week block of your IP address

[edit]

I understand that English isn't your first language and that you're a beginner at Wikipedia, but my patience is wearing thin now. If you promise us that you'll never again insert your own name into any Wikipedia article then I can assure you that we'll lift this block straight away and we can all move on from this. But be warned that the next time we catch you adding your own name to Bamnera using ANY account, we will have you indefinitely banned from Wikipedia because that kind of behavior is unacceptable. --  Netsnipe  ►  04:29, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know English very well, but the matter was drop in swift, I agree with the terms mentioned in your quotes. Now awaiting for the +ve response from your side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rasikdave (talkcontribs) 09:52, July 20, 2009

{{helpme: How to block article from editing, somebody from this ip address " 123.238.5.64 " try to dump incorrect data in this articles, can you please help ?}}

Dear Administrator, please block the ipaddress " 59.182.171.62 " from spoiling articles. It has been noticed that this " 59.182.171.62 " ipaddress is adding incorrect details in others articles for popularity of his town " Bharunda".

Be constructive and don't be over possessive

[edit]

Hi, This is article, not website. Please correct yourself. It is good to write in detail about your village in wikipedia. Wikipedia is a free encyclopaedia, can be used by any person. There are some rules. So we can update accordingly and you can put "Bamnera" wherever it is required. Like in tehsil, district and article of itself. But please don't add "Bamnera" name in every article unless it is related to the topic.

Put reference also for your details on that article, otherwise tomorrow anybody can delete all the data on the basis of 'no reference'. Enjoy being wikipedian and put more details on other articles also, but please with references.

Hi

[edit]

There is no question of RANK? Please correct your information from the link NH 14. You can see the references there for authenticity of the data.

Thanks, I have corrected the information.Rasikdave (talk) 03:58, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help with Rajasthani language

[edit]

Good day! Could you help me and provide translations for the following 100 basic word in Rajasthani. Not in the standard Hindi but in your native local variety (dialect) if you (used to) speak any (and then indicate please precise location like state – district – town/village). If there are synonyms or known dialectal variants provide them with comments if possible. Also please indicate if you know that certain words are borrowing. You can fill in right here using either IPA transcription or any other spelling you like (just describe your conventions). In purely Rajasthani language, it is known as May (particularly old generation), but nowadays people are calling as varshaad. So both are valid in this context.
