Hello, RavenDreamer. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Survivor South Africa: Island of Secrets".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 00:27, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Australian Survivor (season 7), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

[edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Fire Tokens

[edit]

Thanks for your effort to include a table for recording the movement of fire tokens at the Survivor article. Regretfully it was undone. I encourage you to join the ongoing discussion at the articles talk page. ―Buster7  15:31, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Wie is de Mol? (Dutch season 19)

[edit]

Hello, RavenDreamer,

Thank you for creating Wie is de Mol? (Dutch season 19).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

the only source that is not a youtube video of season 20 (even though the article is about season 19), is the website of the program itself. There are no independent, reliable sources at all.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vexations}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Australian Survivor (season 7), a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:42, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Wie is de Mol? (Dutch season 18), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. There is not a single reference from a reliable source. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). In addition, the plot section is waaaaaay to long. Needs to be trimmed down to about 700 words total. Endemol

[edit]

Hi RavenDreamer are you in any way affiliated with or employed by Endemol, the producers of Survivor South Africa and Wie is de Mol, which seem to be the only subjects you seem edit? Vexations (talk) 20:11, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Vexations. I'm not affliated with anyone or employed by Endemol at all. I follow the Survivor South Africa director on Twitter, but have no professional relationship with any of these groups. I'm pretty much unemployed and have too much free time on my hands.

I'm just a big superfan of those two shows. I started every Survivor SA page even back when I was in high school. RavenDreamer (talk) 20:21, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RavenDreamer I figured you might be. The coverage of these shows is, let's say, rather extensive, relative to the amount of coverage they receive in independent, reliable sources. I'm looking at Wie is de Mol? Renaissance, and notice that the sources are
14 citations of https://kijkonderzoek.nl
9 citations of https://www.youtube.com
1 citation of https://www.rtlboulevard.nl
1 citation of https://wieisdemol.avrotros.nl
1 citation of https://twitter.com

Apart from stats from kijkonderzoek those sources are not independent, reliable sources. rtlboulevard may be "independent", but it's a gossip show. I'm afraid you're coming perilously close to WP:OR. Can you not try to find independent, reliable sources that you can use?
