Foreign languages
[edit]If it's of any interest to you, the editing you referred to here as Russian was in fact Ukrainian. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:14, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Significance
[edit]Hi. I've declined your speedy request at No Pony Ride because you can't use the 'significance' criterion on a recording. The A7 part of CSD WP:CSD#A7 is only for people, groups of people (companies, bands, knitting clubs etc), named animals (like Gertie the ninja hamster), organised events (but not spontaneous riots), or web content (like YouTube channels, web sites and such, but not things you can download from them like browsers or games for use only on one machine at a time). Other things have to be taken to WP:PROD or WP:AFD. I've prodded it. Peridon (talk) 14:48, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

Rollbacker and reviewer granted
[edit]Hello RexPatricius. Your account has been granted the "rollbacker" and "pending changes reviewer" user rights. These user rights allow you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes and quickly revert the edits of other users.
- Please keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin).
- The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection enabled is located at Special:StablePages. You may find the following pages useful to review:
- Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes, the guideline on reviewing.
- Wikipedia:Pending changes, the summary of the use of pending changes.
- Wikipedia:Protection policy#Pending changes protection, the policy determining which pages can be given pending changes protection by administrators.
Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of reviewer or rollback. If you no longer want either of these user rights, contact me and I'll remove it, alternatively you can leave a request on the administrators' noticeboard. Happy editing! ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, RexPatricius. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
