Your file upload request

[edit]

Hi Robert. I had to decline your file upload request for two reasons. First, it seems the file is already available (see File:Key keyonly150.png). Secondly, the article in question was previously deleted (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Key Realty School) so it stands very little chance of surviving if recreated (as it looks like you're planning to do based on the contents of your sandbox). Cheers. —JmaJeremy 14:31, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Assistance

[edit]

Hi Jeremy. I wasn't aware that the file is already uploaded, so thanks a lot for the information. Also, I've made significant changes on the article in question (and I also wasn't aware that it was previously deleted) and I would greatly appreciate if you assist me in further improving it so as to be accepted in the article mainspace. The article is about an educational organization so I think given the proper guidance from you and other Wikipedia experts, it can finally pass the strict Wikipedia standards. Cheers. Hi Robert. Sorry, I didn't see this message before nominating your page for deletion, as it appeared to be a bad faith recreation of a deleted article. In light of this, I'll withdraw my nomination for deletion of the page. I don't quite understand this though, do you know User:Michael Federwitz somehow? He seems to have a draft copy of this article in his userspace as well... In any case, let me know if you need any help at my talk page. Cheers! —JmaJeremy 03:11, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jeremy. Thank you very much for your great response. Same as I, I guess it's more prudent to suspend indefinitely this article and move on to editing (particularly Philippine-related articles) and other topics. No, I don't know Mr. Federwitz personally (I should have asked him about the file have I known him). Anyways, I now understand that it really takes time to know the ins and outs of Wikipedia and I thank you in advance for your generous gesture/offer for help. Cheers, Roberteditorwriter 09:01, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Jeremy. I've created a new article and used two images (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7a/Vocre_Logo_1.png) and (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e2/Vocre_usage_screenshots.png) which the company owner uploaded recently. I'm just not familiar with how to change its license into non-free image/rationale, despite the real owner's intention to share it for free. I might do something wrong that will cause their deletion so your suggestion/assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot and sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers. Orphaned non-free media (File:Txtnation logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Txtnation logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:45, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
