Vlaemink

[edit]

Hi, Vlaemink. Welcome to the English Wikipedia.

I see that you have declared this account as an alt, based on you immediately editing the article on Limburgish and inserting the exact same sources in a row and corresponding text from your (now reverted edits) on the Dutch Wikipedia in the exact same order and same text onto the English Wikipedia it is clear beyond doubt that this is your second account.

I would like to remind you that given the very intense discussions on the Dutch wikipedia's article regarding Limburgish, the blocking of the page on Limburgish and the ongoing arbitration committee procedure that it is in bad faith regarding the ToS to create a second account, likely for you to avoid scrutiny. As you can see, the English wikipedia article is a lot more enhanced and in line with contemporary linguistics, which is why I haven't contributed much there. I have kept uncontroversial parts of your quite intrusive edits (that reflect your opinions and style on the Dutch wikipedia) but strongly advise you not to repeat the same disruptive behavior as on the Dutch wikipedia. It's a different Wikipedia project, with the same ToS. If you therefore repeat your disruptive behavior here I will not hesitate to revert your edits and report this and all of your future accounts for sockpuppetry directly to the Wikipedia administrators. Hello RogerDE,

in case you're indeed the same person as the already-registered user:Vlaemink (it wasn't obvious to me at first glance, but the difflinks Briegelaer gives above are rather convincing to me), l'm very much inclined to give you the same advice as Briegelaer does.

(For those who read along and are interested in details on the background, please see for example here as well as this immense talk page including the archives (a translation tool might be useful to understand everything). Additional note: the issue on this whole subject actually goes back as far as 2007 (see here). De Wikischim (talk) 21:15, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
