Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Kraken botnet. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 01:14, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring and damage on Kraken botnet article

[edit]

Ronj1012 , please stop trying to force your edit into Kraken botnet. As other editors have noted, this looks like an almost verbatim copy from an unrelated article, Asprox botnet, without regard for whether the copied text actually relates to the Kraken botnet. In addition, your copying breaks formatting in the references.

You've been reverted four times by three different editors and continue to push your inappropriate text into the article. Please stop. TJRC (talk) 21:07, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ronji, please take better care in editing, it was explained on the article's talk page why this was not a good addition to Asprox botnet. – Þjarkur (talk) 22:08, 8 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Asprox botnet. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please see the talk page. Peaceray (talk) 03:33, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Conficker, you may be blocked from editing. All of your additions appear to consist of rewriting acceptable, encyclopedic, NEUTRAL prose in a manner that advocates usage of a particular type of software (and with introduction of abundant typographical and grammatical errors to boot). Advocacy of particular products is NOT ALLOWED in the encyclopedia. Please stop doing this. If you have any questions, please ask the editors at WP:TEAHOUSE. Thanks. Julietdeltalima (talk) 18:23, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Asprox botnet. Julietdeltalima (talk) 18:24, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Kraken botnet while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting inappropriately and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 18:30, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 18:40, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
