November 2016

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Battle of Tomaszów Lubelski has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 21:06, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the maps!

The Modest Barnstar
I would like to take my time to personally thank you for the maps you made on multiple offenses, even though couple of them are already a bit outdated but I can really see the effort put in them, too bad nobody updates Libyan/Yemeni/Somali/South Sudanese conflict maps anymore, if you got the expertise to update those templates, I'd be very grateful. (not even asking for Afghanistan, mapping that place and getting reliable sources is virtually impossible, also the idea of what constitutes "control" is really debatable in that country) GroundlessAir (talk) 00:54, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hodeidah Map

[edit]

Hey, Rr016 I see you were the one that created the map for the Hodeidah offensive and I was wondering considering that government forces had reached, the outskirts of Hodeidah city, could you update the map to show either only Hodeidah city or just the Hodeidah government considering this offensive is for the Hodeidah governorate. Nice maps and drawing

[edit]

I appreciate the contributions you have done with your maps. If you don't mind can you tell me what software you use to make them so that I could update some situations similar to you in the future? Marjdabi (talk) 23:19, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah thanks for one on Sedan 1940. They are better than good actually. I did the Battle of Belgium 1940. If you've got any spare time it could do with some maps on the tank battles at Hannut and Gembloux. Dapi89 (talk) 17:42, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Rr016: Greetings, I see that I'm not the only one with reason to be grateful for your efforts. It's a perpetual headache to find maps to illustrate articles like Abbeville 1940. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 09:54, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

So far I have not seen any significant advancements made by the ENDF/ARSF. Maybe I will wait until something major happens. --Rr016 (talk) 21:23, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Detective Barnstar
For the Ethiopian civil conflict map among other maps. I don't think even big name big budget news organizations have done as much work to make these maps. JustBeCool (talk) 02:16, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maps based on unreliable sources

[edit]

Hello. I would like to address the maps you have been adding to Wikipedia articles. I am impressed by your cartographic skills and the maps you make are very appealing to the eye. But unfortunately, the case is such that if the maps are only referencing anonymous Twitter accounts (in the file description and edit descriptions), they do not meet Wikipedia's standards for reliability and cannot be posted on articles.
