Changing BC to BCE in Coin article

[edit]

Hi Rrobbyy - Please see the discussion topic I started on the Coin Talk page regarding whether to use BC or BCE. The protocol is to discuss changing the era designation first, before making changes to an established article. I understand and respect your preference for BCE, but in the spirit of cooperation and consensus we have found it is best to first discuss controversial issues like this one, in part to prevent an unproductive edit war. Thanks!   - Mark D Worthen PsyD (talk) 18:17, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edits because of this issue. However, please note that you made some other edits, unrelated to the BC/BCE issue, which IMHO believe were very good. I was not able to retain those edits--it becomes very complicated trying to revert some edits while retaining others--but I do hope you will add those (non-BC/BCE-related) edits back. Also, you might want to discuss changing the formatting of the images on the article's Talk page before making such a change, out of respect for the editors who have been working on the article for a while. Thanks again   - Mark D Worthen PsyD (talk) 18:47, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Hermodike I (Demodike I, Hermodice I, Damodice I). Thanks! TeaDrinker (talk) 21:46, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Rrobbyy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hermodike I".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 22:11, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it’s already published?

[edit]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermodike_I Should be complete. If so the draft isn’t needed. If not, please publish. Sorry I’m a novice at this. Rrobbyy (talk) 10:35, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Observable universe, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 16:12, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TalkToTheWord requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
