[edit]Thank you for the help with the link to the movie, if you can find any more, just pop them straight in. Thanks ! Penyulap talk 15:14, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hi SamEtches, can I call you Sam ? I probably gave poor advice, as I have since learnt that the encyclopedia type people don't really like pop culture(like media) sections generally. They make it pretty hard to understand too, like for Solaris, the ISS would belong in the Solaris article, explaining how the sets for the movie were based on the ISS, but Solaris doesn't belong in the ISS article because nothing about the ISS changed because of the movie Solaris. It's weird, but thats as best I can understand it. If one changed the other than it's 'notable' but if it had no effect it's 'not notable' and doesn't go in. First orbit gets mentioned because it was filmed on the iss, by a crew member, from the cupola module, so it effected the ISS. Does that make any sense ? Penyulap talk 01:13, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Gangs of New York appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. RepublicanJacobiteTheFortyFive 02:37, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

The Fifth Element
[edit]Please do not change the year in which the film is set without providing a reliable source. Thank you. Doniago (talk) 06:20, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Fifth Element, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop changing the year without providing any explanation. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 15:50, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Fifth Element, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 20:49, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:13, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 16
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Giant (1956 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Segregation (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Brokeback Mountain, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 13:47, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Knowing (film). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 13:19, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Per above, you've been warned about doing this type of thing. Stop it, or you will eventually be blocked for editing in this way (whether it's a temporary or permanent block). Flyer22 (talk) 01:06, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Armageddon (1998 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Mahon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). [edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that I undid your recent edits to the The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (film) plot summary because they added a significant amount of unneeded detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 13:56, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edit summaries, multiple consecutive edits
[edit]Hello-
- Please make a habit of providing an edit summary when you make a change to an article. Doing so makes it easier for your colleagues here to understand the intention of your edit.
- Plus, it will be easier for you and your co-editors to collaborate on articles if, instead of making multiple consecutive edits in rapid succession on an article, you use the "Show preview" button to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits. This keeps the page history of the article less cluttered.
Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. Eric talk 11:59, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Flight 19 does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Ditto for every other edit you've made on Wikipedia. Eric talk 02:54, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at RMS Olympic , without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 00:25, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
