Re: Image:4x rifle scope.jpg

[edit]

The scope is a Tasco I think, but I don't know which model. The rifle is a Winchester Model 70 chambered for .243. --Captaindan 08:44, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

No, it was already uploaded to the article. I just cropped it to remove some matting around the image. I believe (not sure) that the original was PD as well. Alcarillo (talk) 06:46, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just found the original image here; it's listed as in the public domain. Alcarillo (talk)

I am not entirely sure how to do this. Along with the original email, do I have to send anything else? Thanks, Hayden120 (talk) 03:00, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tavor

[edit]

I cropped the picture of the Taovr. [1] In the original picture the Tavor is not the main subject. Flayer (talk) 07:31, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm ok not the best solution 'cause many pictures is the location not the main subject but also categorized in locational categories.--Sanandros (talk) 12:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: M27

[edit]

I actually copied it from the German and Chinese articles, and from the HK416 article. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 22:34, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On 28 September you tagged File:Fog nozzle5.JPG indicating that you copied it to Commons. I see several examples of fog nozzles placed on Commons by you, but not that one. Did I miss something?--SPhilbrickT 01:15, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank u probaly i messed a little bit up... Now it's on Commons--Sanandros (talk) 16:50, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Zamzam Well, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Well (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. NGC 3862

[edit]

Just a friendly heads up on NGC 3862. I had to decline your speedy deletion request, since redirecting to a list that it's not on unfortunately isn't one of the valid speedy reasons for redirect. The correct way to go here would be to list it at WP:RfD----Fabrictramp | talk to me 02:42, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wound up adding it to the list and changing the redirect to a stub.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 02:58, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Translation help request

[edit]

Hello,

Recently we have been helped by German Wikipedia users in copyediting & partial translation of english wikipedia article en:Kithaab to German Wikipedia article de:Benutzerin:IvaBerlin/Kithaab. The article is about a play on women rights issues.

The english wikipedia article is already being translated in various global languages like es:Kithaab & we are looking forward to getting it translated in various European languages including rm: ru: fr: from German Wikipedia article de:Benutzerin:IvaBerlin/Kithaab before we go forward in getting translated in other European languages we wish that preferably translation of the article en:Kithaab es:Kithaab to de:Benutzerin:IvaBerlin/Kithaab gets completed. So there chances of mistakes in other European languages will be lesser.

Looking forward to your inputs & kind help regarding the same

Thanking you with warm regards

Bookku (talk) 15:24, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm actually not the right person for that because I have dyslexia. But I read and it doesn't have big errors. But did you check the relevany on de:Wikipedia:Relevanzcheck? Because German WP is pretty strict with relevancy.--Sanandros (talk) 20:22, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, I suppose Relevanzcheck need not be a problem because the first German translating user has strong experience on German language Wikipedia. She left translation in between because of length of the article and any other problem. Thanks any way, & best wishes.
