Editing your comments on Talk:William Lane Craig
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you don't mind that I edited your comments on Talk:William Lane Craig to repair the links to WP:SNOW. You can link to such shortcuts as if they were the real article: [[WP:SNOW]] produces WP:SNOW. #REDIRECT is used to create such shortcut pages; the relevant content of WP:SNOW is
- #REDIRECT [[Wikipedia:Snowball clause]]
which automatically sends everybody trying to look at WP:SNOW to the proper location. I believe the {{shortcut}} template is used to create the "Shortcut:" box which appears on Wikipedia:Snowball clause itself. Yours, Huon (talk) 23:31, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:02, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Re:How do I go About this?
[edit]Dear User:Sanju87, thanks for the message on my talk page. It is indeed sad to see List of scandals involving evangelical Christians, when no similar article exists for individuals of other persuasions. To me, the article seems like an Wikipedia:Attack page. You did the right think by posting the issue at WP:XNB since the page is, as you stated, under the purview of WP:X. I will come and take a look at the issue and I am sure that others will investigate the potential issue. I hope this helps. Khuda hafiz, AnupamTalk 19:08, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
- I looked at the reference and you're right. The reference uses the term fundamentalist, not evangelical. You explained your rationale on the talk page and are discussing the issue. I restored the supported term but I should state that I am only limited to 1RR for the next few months. If the other user continues to edit war, I would take the issue to WP:AN3 and to resolve the dispute, I would consider seeking a dispute resolution. I hope this helps. With regards, AnupamTalk 19:18, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message! I'm glad things are becoming better there! And yes, if the user breaks 3RR, then WP:AN3 is the appropriate course of action. If a dispute needs resolved then contact WP:DRN. If you need input from other members of the project, then post at the noticeboard of WikiProject Christianity. I hope this helps! Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:31, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
