Akidearest article

[edit]

Hello Sarah Tokyo, and thanks for your creation of the article, Akidearest. As it currently stands it probably wouldn't survive if it was nominated for deletion. I'm unfamiliar with the subject of the article, but I've created similar articles, such as Abroad in Japan. I can dig around for some more reliable sources, but generally self-published work isn't a reliable source, see WP:USERG for more on that. Generally newspapers or magazines would be the best place to find reliable sources for YouTubers such as Chris Broad or Agnes Diego. An examples of a source that could be used is [1]. If you need any help, feel free to get in touch. ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 04:06, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mccunicano! Thank you for your message. I would definitely appreciate your help with improving the Wikipedia article for Akidearest. I'll also try searching for a few more reliable sources. I actually referenced the Chris Broad article a few times when writing this one. It's very well written!

Thanks again for reaching out to help :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarah Tokyo (talkcontribs)

No problem! And thanks for the compliment! Just don't forget to sign off on talk pages by typing four tildes ( ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 04:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)). ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 04:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry! I'm still fairly new to wikipedia and figuring out how it works. Good to know you are notified when I type a message here! ⑉⑉Sarah Tokyo☕️ 04:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)). ⑉⑉[reply]

Again, no worries, also if you want set up your own custom signature that is generated after typing the four tildes, check out WP:SIGTUT. ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 04:28, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry! I accidentally used your custom made signature (haha) Hopefully this time it'll be my own one! UserSarah Tokyo talk

It's alright, I did a double take thinking I may have accidentally signed your comment. Your signature should generate a blue link for your talk page since that exists and one for your user page if you decide to make one. A standard signature would look something like this: Mccunicano talk 04:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC).[reply]
If you want an example of a custom signature you could set in your Preferences, I cooked this up based on my own signature, Sarah Tokyo🗼 Feel free to do whatever with it! ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 05:12, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oooh! That's snazzy! Thank you very much :D Sarah Tokyo🗼

Enjoy! haha, feel free to customize it however you want, if you want to change the color of the background where it says #008000 you can just paste in the HEX code of the color you prefer. ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 06:27, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cool! Thanks for teaching me how to edit the signature :) Also, do you think the wikipedia page is safe from being deleted now? I'm still trying to source the 'early life' section, but if that's not possible will it be removed? Sarah Tokyo🗼

Honestly, I'm not so sure. If that section was referenced with a reliable source, I would say it would be safe. I would argue for the article's existence, based on criteria 2 of WP:ENTERTAINER as it stands, but that might be seen as debatable to other editors. Just keep an eye out for any new coverage she gets! ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 09:35, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand - I will keep my eyes peeled for any new articles. For now, is there anything else I can do for this article? Once again, thank you for all of your assistance! I really appreciate it!! Sarah Tokyo🗼

Great! For this article, I'll give any further commentary over at it's talk page, Talk:Akidearest. If you have questions about anything else, you can just direct them to my talk page. ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 01:19, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
