Re:Libertadores
[edit]Hola Sebas! Hello Sebasbronzini, it is highly unusual to highlight the lowest rank in a table like the one you edited in the article Latin America. Specially when your edits are not helping to the better understanding of the table. The bold text confuses the highest ranks. Please do not highlight the lowest ranks anymnore. Alejcov 15:48, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but I still think the same. The highest rank and the lowest rank were both just highlighted using bold text, which was confusing. Haiti holds the lowest rank in each category, that also confused the table, since all its statistics were highlighted with plain bold text.
- However, I applied what I think is the best solution. I colored green the highest ranks and colored pale yellow the lowest. Also, I used bold text only to the highest ranks. I think it looks better. What do you think? AlexCov ( Let's talk! ) 20:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Brunettes userbox
[edit]I just thought I'd let you know that Krimpet (talk · contribs) took it on herself to delete the brunettes userbox you were using. This follows other subjects about women she has chosen to take on herself whether or not they should be on Wikipedia the past two weeks, including starting an "edit war" on the DYK section of the main page.[2] Thought you might want to know.--King Bedford I Seek his grace 23:23, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Rxart
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rxart, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Subject isn't independently notable outwith the vendor; all notable content has been merged to Pixart
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Image copyright problem with File:Dakar-Rally-2009-stages.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Dakar-Rally-2009-stages.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}

License tagging for File:Tangolero.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tangolero.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Wikimedia Stories Project
[edit]Aloha!
My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share.
I find stories that drive our annual fundraising efforts. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.
I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.
I will be in Buenos Aires from the 10th - 11th of March 2012.
I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!
Thank you,
Victor Grigas

Argentina ethnic groups
[edit]The information can be found here on page 58. The methodology is not different from what the US Census does in the United States when it asks respondents what race they consider themselves to belong to. Latinobarómetro is a highly regarded polling institute and meets WP:RS. Your source (www.worldstatesmen.org) does not. Pristino (talk) 11:12, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 9
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Solveig Gunbjørg Jacobsen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Norwegian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Orphaned non-free media (File:Tangolero.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tangolero.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:40, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
