Hi Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum was recently deleted because it was made by a sock but the page is of an on air show so it should be retrieved somehow. Is it possible to bring back the data of the page before it was deleted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2405:205:4408:BEF8:0:0:CB2:40A4 (talk) 16:15, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Stop deleting awards

Why you're deleting awards for no reasons? What's your problem? Go and check nominees of Gold awards thank you. https://www.goldawards.in/ ABTHEBOSS (talk) 08:58, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Swapnilraj55

The Zee Horror Show was inspired from several Hollywood classics which I had listed under Plot section. Help me where I should write those things Swapnilraj55 (talk) 11:43, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Stop deleting content from Zee Horror Show page. Are you so dumb that you cannot see the official website reference that has been given by me as a proof of Dish TV syndication. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 10:53, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: Please read the policies first Mentioned above and the link you provided was not working That's why I wrote better source required, Please find a reliable and established third party source for notability. Also please read Wikipedia:No personal attacks to know how to better messages on talk page. Sid95Q (talk) 11:01, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

So if any content is not according to the format guidelines by Wikipedia then instead of directly deleting it you can yourself modify it bcoz I have not seen you adding a single line of information in any page. You have so much time in thw world to delete data from every single page existing but no time to add data or modify something if it is not according to the rules. You have no respect for someone's hard work. Try creating a page one day and you will understand the hard work required to find data from old news articles. Because of you I am quitting Wikipedia from today. Since there is no way to complain regarding people like you I am taking this step. If you take this as a personal attack then its fine. Do whatever you want. Goodbye Wikipedia Swapnilraj55 (talk) 09:07, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

My dear @Swapnilraj55: I was in your place 3 years back . I created a lot of pages which were deleted as they were not according to the guidelines. If you will not provide sources than the content is of no use as it as it falls under Wikipedia:No original research. In the edit on X Zone i did not remove sourced content and moved it to a proper section so please find source. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 09:20, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

Why you removed the list of Episodes from X Zone page ? They are in tabular form as per the guidelines. I guess you are not even seeing my edits properly now. Please restore my edits. I am unable to understand which guidelines was it not following. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 16:03, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: you were disrupting pages that time by reverting them to faulty version so I just reverted them to a stable version and please use the talk page of the article for these discussions as it will be easy to follow. Happy Editing. Sid95Q (talk) 16:10, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

Please don't misuse your editing rights. I am requesting you please atleast have a look at the changes that I have made. All references were given and all are as per guidelines. At some places I had just added cast of some Episodes and year of telcast. Still you removed them blindly. You have just reverted everything to the last stable version. Let me know atleast which point you are disagreeing with rather than just reverting everything. I am talking about Zee Horror Show page Swapnilraj55 (talk) 17:20, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: I Have not removed anything you edited today as they were fine So I don't know what is the issue now. Sid95Q (talk) 17:26, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Tamravidhir. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tamravidhir (talk) 15:28, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

@Tamravidhir: Which page?. Sid95Q (talk) 15:31, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Quite some edits attributed to you have come up in my watchlist on Indian television related articles, for some past few days. In light of them. I have not reverted them, but wanted to drop by a caution. --Tamravidhir (talk) 15:33, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: Please check again I always provide summary , all my edits are per MOS:TV and WP:ICTFSOURCES and I follow WP:RS and Template:Infobox television. The only mistake I remember was on Sab TV page for which I thanked you. Please provide the links of changes while sending warning messages next time. Warm Regards. @Tamravidhir: I am editing Indian television related articles from past two years I think you are not aware about the situation here I think this will help you User:Cyphoidbomb/Campaign of Ignorance. Warm Regards.Sid95Q (talk) 15:48, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
I have not asked for patronage/help, so I will refrain from commenting on individual experience as editors. This list lists down the series of edits made by you without any citation/edits which are not helpful:
Please look into these and a few more of your contributions. Thank you! --Tamravidhir (talk) 16:13, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir:

1) (*APV live is not a reliable source) I did not add this source I just moved back the entry to the previous section as it was a premature entry as per WP:CRYSTAL because the series has not yet started. 2) (*Not a justifies reason for removal of content) As per Template:Infobox film this parameter is used if films are based on previously produced or published material, such as books, plays, articles, old screenplays etc. 3) (*none of these are as per WP:RS) I asked Admin Ponyo I was told that these primary sources could be used for programming here. 4) (*Citation was not replaced with a better citation} Sorry I forgot to remove the content as wellSid95Q 5) (*This information was deleted and not added elsewhere with a citation} We only add notable appearances is television We don't have to add every reality show or talk show appearances which are done for the promotion of film. User_talk:Yashthepunisher/Archive_7#Television_appearances_By_Actors Sid95Q (talk) 16:50, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

Understand #1 and #2 but still not sure if any Wikipedia rule crystallises your reply to #5. There is no point in removing information in #4 but just to replace it with a better citation. Looking into issue #3. --Tamravidhir (talk) 16:56, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Checked again. This leads to the Nick website. This is not WP:RS. --Tamravidhir (talk) 16:58, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: Thanks for the help will be careful next time with the references. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 17:12, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

@Tamravidhir: I Asked about ABP Live User_talk:Cyphoidbomb#ABP_Live. Sid95Q (talk) 18:50, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
  • information Administrator note@Tamravidhir: Hi there. While there have been a few mistakes here and there and maybe Sid might need to provide stronger references, I have found Sid to be a conscientious editor who asks questions and seems to want to do things correctly. In addition, I don't see a problem with this removal of content, since per Sid noted, we don't typically include one-time interviews on talk shows in a filmography. If he was a recurring performer on the show, like as a stand-up comedian or something, that might be different. See Rodney Dangerfield. But just sitting on a sofa and talking? Nah. I also don't see what your objection is with this edit. A primary source, like one of Nickelodeon's official sites, can absolutely be used as a reference for uncontroversial content like the mere existence of a show. And using the Wayback Machine to dig up archives of these sites has never been a problem for the community. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:46, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Thank you @Cyphoidbomb: Will try to improve the mistakes in future. Warm Regards . Sid95Q (talk) 20:11, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
The edits to List of programs broadcast by StarPlus may lead to an edit war. Please be cautioned. Thank you! --Tamravidhir (talk) 06:08, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
Thank you @Tamravidhir:, It's very common issue here where IPs ignore guidelines like WP:CRYSTAL, MOS:TV, WP:NOTTVGUIDE etc. Will ask for page protection if there will be an issue like edit warring. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 08:37, 11 August 2019 (UTC)

Jetix Europe Co-Productions

Why are some of the Jetix Europe Co-Productions in the Disney Channel section? They’re not Disney shows as Disney Enterprises only owned 74% of Jetix Europe and not all the shows were distributed through Buena Vista. Luigitehplumber (talk) 20:28, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi @LTPHarry: It would be more helpful if you start a discussion regarding this on article's Talk page. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 02:05, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Okay. Luigitehplumber (talk) 08:24, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Regarding recent edits

I noted these edits you made to List of programs broadcast by StarPlus. While I was bothered by the removal of those two issue tags I also noted you removed list of shows under the international section, inter alia. While I understand that there is no citation to stand by those inclusions but I found the removal quite selective and bothersome. Star Plus made its foray into the Indian mainstream media by telecasting shows in English-language, popular in the West. There have been many articles/books on the same. Including mentions in NCERT textbooks. I would suggest you to undertake the task of finding citations before removing such content. If you cannot undertake the task of finding reliable sources at least tag them or ask someone else. But such removal should be preceded by looking for such source. Please take this into account, and I hope for the content to be restored with proper citations. --Tamravidhir (talk) 07:00, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

@Tamravidhir: I agree there are a lot of references about Star being an international syndication channel before it's split from Zee but there are not enough sources which tell us which shows aired on the network.Unfortunately a reference is must for series /shows which are acquired from other national or international network and these are not considered [1] as reliable for inclusion due to various reasons (I used videos like this to add these shows 2 years back as I was not aware about various policies back than). There are a lot of Indian shows (without wiki page) which are not on list as well because everything on Wikipedia must be verifiable. Warm Regards.
My concerns stand at your selective removal of shows, there are many more which stand in the list unreferenced. And also with regards to the unexplained removal of two "citation needed" templates. --Tamravidhir (talk) 09:56, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: (pinging you again as I don't know you are watching my page or not) As I explained in my edit both shows are Original shows (just like most shows which are without references) of the network and both have Wiki pages which establish their notability and inclusion to the list.In List articles references are mostly required for Shows which are syndicated, acquired from other networks, non wiki entries and upcoming programming. There is nothing Selective in the process. Sid95Q (talk) 10:02, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
I am talking about the removal of maintenance templates sans explanation. --Tamravidhir (talk) 10:09, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: Explained above as well as in my edit summary. Sid95Q (talk) 10:10, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
"Removed unsourced" (per your edit summary) is seemingly no justification to delete maintenance templates when the templates indicate that there need to be sources. You should have replaced the templates with WP:RS; that's what 'citation needed' stands for. The entries still lack a citation. --Tamravidhir (talk) 10:13, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
Please check the previous edit summary Here I added a reference for non wiki entry and removed citation templates as both shows are Original shows of the network and both have Wiki pages which establish their notability and inclusion to the list. Sid95Q (talk) 10:14, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: The shows which you have mentioned as unreferenced are original shows of the network so references are not that important for them as their wiki page establish their notability and inclusion in the list article unlike the international series section which I removed . References are mostly required for Shows which are syndicated, acquired from other networks, non wiki entries and upcoming programming in a list article. Sid95Q (talk) 10:29, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
@Tamravidhir: Due to some problem in system [2] My edits are mentioned in the edit summary but the changes are not available in the main space. So I added a reference (which was not added) and explained my reasons for removing citation templates here. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 16:27, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

Palme dog

Hello. Both the Cannes film festival and the Palm Dog have Wikipedia pages. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 00:37, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

@Samurai Kung fu Cowboy: Please check the edit properly before indulging in edit war Both awards are still present other non wiki awards were removed plus I wikilinked other awards like Golden Trailer awards which were not linked. 00:43, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Sid95Q (talk)

Thank you for clearing that up. The way the edit read, it looked like you deleted it. If you look at it, I think you'll see my confusion. My bad. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 00:56, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

Zee Rishtey Award is also same kind of award like SPA and you will find this award in so many actor's pages. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shraddha_Arya ABTHEBOSS (talk) 17:54, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

Hello sir, If we can't add SPA then why people can add Zee Rishtey Awards in Actor's articles? When both are same kind of awards. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shraddha_Arya

@ABTHEBOSS: As I said before please start a discussion about it on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force and please don't not add Revert edits or add Star Parivaar Awards to other articles until the discussion is over on that page. Sid95Q (talk) 18:19, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

So after Shaheer Sheikh you're doing same thing with Ronit Roy's award page. Why you're only biased with only SPA awards? ABTHEBOSS (talk) 18:49, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

@ABTHEBOSS: The reason has been explained to you several times if you think something is wrong please start a discussion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force and gain consensus otherwise you are just wasting yours and others time by disruptive editing. Sid95Q (talk) 18:53, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
@ABTHEBOSS: This isn't rocket science. The Star Parivaar award is a self-aggrandising, in-house award where the Star network lavishes praise on actors and shows on its own network. It is the equivalent of bragging "My mom says I'm the most handsome boy in the whole world!" Clear conflict of interest, not an academic career achievement. This is why various members of the Indian editing community opted to exclude it from articles in this discussion. If you think that the Zee Rishtey award is the same thing, then raise the issue at WT:ICTF and get a consensus to have that removed as well. What we do not want, is edit-warring, as you were doing, nor do we want articles fluffed up with meaningless awards. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Only the most significant achievements should be included. This is also why we don't add unknown fly-by-night awards. We're not here to do publicity, we're here to present an academic snapshot of the most important aspects of the subject's life. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:59, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
