[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:10, 13 September 2024 (UTC)- Hi, I have done as you asked. Please unblock my account. Thank you so much in advance! Signtif (talk) 15:18, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

Note that "paid editing" does not require specific payment for contributions, any paid relationship triggers the disclosure requirement. That includes employment- do you work for Signtif? 331dot (talk) 15:32, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I do but I'll make sure that it doesn't affect my work here. Signtif (talk) 15:38, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- That just means that you will need to declare as a paid editor. Editing about the "music industry" is a broad topic, can you do this without editing about your company? Are there particular areas you want to edit? We're going to want to see a history of edits in areas unrelated to your company, as a demonstration of your understanding of relevant policies, before permitting you to indirectly contribute about your company. 331dot (talk) 15:57, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Sure thing! In that case, I have an edit for WatZatSong. It currently states that Inevitiv Pte. Ltd. launched an app in 2018, but that's factually incorrect. The app was actually launched by BIG MAGE EOOD, a company based in Bulgaria. WatZatSong was then acquired by Signtif in 2024. I would like to start by correcting this. May I proceed with that edit? - Hello? Signtif (talk) 19:22, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not here 24/7. I asked you what you wanted to edit about other than your company. I was looking for something narrower than the "music industry". What aspects of it? 331dot (talk) 19:25, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm a huge fan of Lostwave music. As soon as a notable piece of Lostwave music is discovered, I want to be the first to write about it on Wikipedia. Similarly, I would also like to proofread and verify the facts on existing Wikipedia articles related to Lostwave. I hope this answers your question. Signtif (talk) 19:29, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- That's going to be difficult, as Wikipedia has strong sourcing requirements, while "lostwave" music by definition has few if any sources. 331dot (talk) 19:33, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I understand, but I still want to give it a try. In addition, I would also like to contribute to the Lost film section. Please give me a chance to prove myself. Signtif (talk) 19:36, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Ian, can you have a look at WP:COI, and let us know what articles or types of articles you'd have a conflict of interest writing about? The AI/templated message in your unblock request doesn't really tell me that you understand how to edit while having a conflict of interest or being a paid editor. -- asilvering (talk) 03:00, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
