Sorry, I had to revert you for Hummel. Please take some time and read the above. Large quotes are discouraged, and have to come with a reliable independent (!) source. Please discuss what you want to add on the article's talk page. You will be clever enough not to just put it back, which is considered edit-warring. - Happy editing! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:24, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hello Ms. Arendt, this is Sir Clever. I just joined Wikipedia a few days ago, and I didn't know that what I was doing was not approved. I am sorry. Anyway, I'm here to let you know that I just added a new discussion on the article's talk page about this. You and other editors may reply about what you think of my suggestions as to regarding adding more information to this article. Thank you very much! --Sir Clever 04:06, 6 August 2018 (UTC+8:00)
- Nice to meet you. I indented the above, as normal on talk pages, so when you reply you begin with three colons, then I four, - I remember that it was kind of overwhelming in the beginning. No need to be sorry for any "bold" edit, - and please stay bold. Just, when reverted, discuss, as you do, great! I don't know enough about the person you quote to tell if he is a respected authority. If yes, summarize the quote in your words, quoting a few lines, and absolutely add the reference for where that was said. Look in the article how other references are built and model yours after the style present. (Different authors have different styles, and it is considered polite to have them similar in an article.) I am no author of the Hummel article, I just watch it. It's useful to watch articles where you made changes, then you will be informed on your watchlist about recent changes to them. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:18, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, a couple things: You cannot copy information from other sites into Wikipedia, as you did at Johann Nepomuk Hummel. This is plagiarism and a copyright violation. You also cannot add unsourced controversial information about living people as you did at Bloods. Please take the time to read the links in your welcome message and familiarize yourself with our standards for citing reliable sources. --Laser brain (talk) 11:42, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
