Your Signature

[edit]

Please could you reduce your signature's size? It takes up 5 lines of code, and it simply makes people responsding to your comments find it harder to find where they should! Thanks. Computerjoe's talk 19:32, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Still hogging up a bit of space, but not as much. Computerjoe's talk 09:42, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3 revert rule

[edit]

Yes thanks for reminding me - I'll lay off then. However.. Seeing as you are on top of these things perhaps you could ask User:Col. Hauler to 'have a rest' too. Not only does the user keep reverting - but hasn't bothered to respond to comments on user:talk or a request for discussion on the Wii:talk page - this is a pain over what is possibly the most minor thing. I've recommended http://www.usemod.com/cgi-bin/mb.pl?ConflictParadox as something to read in respect to this issue.HappyVR 13:03, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Saw it on the DYK suggestion page. Great article! Enjoyed it very much. Cheers -- Samir धर्म 05:27, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Esperanze User Page Awards

[edit]

Smurrayinchester, thanks for signing up for the Esperanza User Page Contest. The judges have received the fifteen entries, and are ready to start judging. The judges will take a week to complete the judging process, and they will contact all the participants when the judging is done.

Please drop by the contest page for contest updates and questions. Take care, and good luck! - Pureblade | Θ 15:12, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

[edit]
Updated DYK query Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Transport (typeface), which you recently nominated, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

User:Weepwoo

[edit]

I see you blocked Weepwoo after he/she vandalised a few user pages, including mine. According to the logs, the block was at 16:05 (Australian CST) and yet the user was still able to post to the user page at 16:10. Do blocks take time to have effect? Or are the time stamps no always accurate? Thanks for getting rid of them anyway. Kevin 06:59, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BBC Fake sites.

[edit]

You seem to know a lot about these. They're quite easy to recognise when you see too much of them though - A freakishly regular layout, abscence of neccesary links, the regular "Disclaimer", overuse of Flash, &c. Are they just for Jamie Kane and Doctor Who? Maybe we could make BBC Fake Websites, or at least expand the content on Jamie Kane fake websites. I even have a list of the Fake Greta URLs. --Quentin Smith 13:46, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Hi, how you doing? I'm stuck at home ill, so I've decided to re-organize images. Weee ; ) Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 09:18, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I look after one myself. ; ) Highway Rainbow Sneakers 09:41, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've applied the red and white layout that you wanted on Portal:Pokémon. Feel free to check it out. Please reply on my talk page I Love Minun 19:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest you consider taking that start back from User:HighwayCello. He reverted the edit that you wanted. But i've added it back. I Love Minun 15:23, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You tagged this album as non-notable. I've added some sources and chart positions of singles from it (two of which went Top 40 in the UK), but I'm not sure, as this album itself hasn't charted (it was only released a couple of days ago), but the singles off it have, whether it also counts as notable. smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 17:10, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The tag isn't 'non-notable' per se, it is a request to explain the notability of the subject of the article. It wasn't clear how an album released only days ago at the time of writing could be notable, but your answer above has gone some way to providing an answer to the question. Thanks,  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  17:19, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A haiku of thanks

Wise I'll try to be.

User:Iloveminun

[edit]

Thank you for helping with the Cleanup image, Iloveminun has it out for me. I don't know what to do, he is driving me up the wall, and I spend more time cleaning up his mess than editting these days. I'm sick of him bad mouthing here, there and everywhere, between twisting the truth (he told me about Actown) and bringing up my RfA everywhere (which, as I'm sure you'll have guessed will be brought up whenever I re-apply). I'm just starting to hate the wiki, can you tell me what to do? (Full log - User:HighwayCello/Minun#Harassment) Regards, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 13:57, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I chose Charmander on FireRed (I am restarting now, I have convinced myself I need Bulby and Squirtle) and Torchic. But I have them all. Torchic is very cute. Thank you for the help, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 14:15, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I play the cello, and my favourite poem is The Highwayman. Not exactly rocket science. I would change it, but all my usernames are the same, so it's confusing. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 14:27, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not to be annoying, but he did it again. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 19:56, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm wondering if an indef block is all that'll stop him bugging out. I don't want that to happen, but it is looking a positive upside. And if he tries to pull the ArbCom on me, I have all the evidence. I don't get fobbed too often, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 19:59, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Now all he does is have a go at me, or try to destroy the Wikiproject. I am absolutely sick of fixing templates and removing the colour splurges in infoboxes after him. Yes, he got it right, I follow him. Fix the damn mess. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:04, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He's signed out and blanked my pages. Look here, it says thanks for adding the image. Look who uploaded the image. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:10, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It made me laugh, Actown and I know each other. And he is, per above. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:11, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He never got blocked. Check the history- 81.153.144.2's contributions. Doesn't this border harassment? ; ) Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:18, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He's done it twice (I reverted one and you the other). I know this isn't ArbCom worthy, but something needs done. Thanks, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 12:12, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What's that? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 12:16, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And it turns out that he's done this to AManInBlack before me. Greaat. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 12:17, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for putting so much work into the RfC, it's great. Do I have to do anything now, or do I just sign in the section below you? Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 18:34, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Birds

[edit]

About the mysterious birds - I'm absolutely sure they are Egyptian Goose (the standing ones, I mean). These are native to Africa and have escaped from domestication in parts of England. SCHZMO 18:53, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AutoWikiBrowser

[edit]

Do you know anyone with an AutoWikiBrowser, I tried to download it myself but it doesn't seem to work. I Love Minun (talk) 15:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for it all

My signature

[edit]

Could you please semi-protect the following pages [1] [2] [3] [4] ? Vandalised signature templates would clearly create some grief. Also, I've cleared after the barnstar – feel free to revert. haz (user talk) 16:40, 7 June 2006

No. And if I was, do you think I'd be stupid enough to let him catch me? I don't even know what he thinks I'm doing wrong. I am under so much stress, I just do need this shit. : ( Highway Rainbow Sneakers 15:43, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not particulary. The description is fine, and you'd have to go into detail about shinies. And lots of places have shiny pictures... Highway Rainbow Sneakers 19:55, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why is the article "Gryvenpufsly" been deleted? I wonder if there is a way on we could ever recreate it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Areol Demolvort (talkcontribs)

Thanks... I hope Gryvenpufsly will be allowed to put an article. With the help of course of those who are good in making articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Areol Demolvort (talkcontribs)

Beer consumption by country

[edit]

Hello, I would like to point out that at the page Beer consumption by country the map does not agree with the numbers (e.g. the color for the Czech Republic belongs to the range 75-99.9 while CR is the only one with consumption greater than 150 and the neighbour Slovakia has only 84.1 while coloured the darkest ...) --Kavol 09:54, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See my talk for another correction. --Kavol 11:42, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
