User talk:Sonnenalle44
Hello, Collectivesoundwalk. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:40, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.
Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:40, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Since your username has now been changed, I have unblocked this account and you are free to edit again. Regards, -- Ed (Edgar181) 17:54, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

Undisclosed paid editing
[edit]Hello Sonnenalle44. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sonnenalle44. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sonnenalle44|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:44, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Dear drm310, there is some false understanding of my intentions. I am not on wikipedia for any financial gain, purely to share my knowledge on subjects I research in accordance to Wikipedia's formatting. I am new here so I am learning as I go along. Sonnenalle44 (talk) 11:57, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Declaring not paid
[edit]IF you have no financial connection to the topics in question, the thing to do is to go to your User page and declare no paid relationship. Ditto denying conflict of interest IF you have no personal connection to the topics, paid or unpaid. Your denial as a response in your Talk is too obscure. David notMD (talk) 12:53, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
- I am just coming back to Wikipedia now. I have declared my intentions on my user page. That should help fellow editors understand my intentions.
- Sonnenalle44 (talk) 11:36, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for making those declarations. I hope your experience here is a good one. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:09, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
