Please see this discussion outlining the use of WP:LDR on the Avril Lavigne articles and this discussion outlining the use of {{R}}. If you contest the use of these methods on the AL articles, you are more than welcome to start a discussion. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 01:13, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I don't mean to sound rude, but come on. As I said in the summary, not a lot of people know how to use those. I AM NOT trying to contest that every article be changed, I am just trying to get "Girlfriend" to GA. Not all of her articles need to be the exact same. You are beginning to frustrate the hell out of me. Yes, there are different ways of doing the refs, I am aware of that.
All this so called consensus is just three/four people who work on her articles deciding what to do. No other opinions seem to matter. As I said before, I am not trying to change the way everything is done on her articles, I respect the work you guys have put in, but it just seems like you guys want to have it the way you want it to be, and that's it. And no, I will not start a discussion. The same people will just go in and object to anything I said. As I said before, it's just one article, and not every one of her articles need to be the same.
I'm not even comment on this comment: "We'll just fix them later."
I'm sorry again if this sounds rude, but it's how it feels. I'm just trying to help out, and you can probably see how frustrating it would be; me, working for a little over an hour fixing the refs and you go and revert it. nding·start 01:27, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Originally, it took me hours to "fix" them all too. Again, I'm sorry if you feel like you wasted your time, but that is definitely one thing I'm standing behind. The WP:LDR format has a ton of advantages (as I've pointed out previously--an unmentioned one being archiving). Many references are lost because they're not archived and having ALL of the references listed in one location makes it easier to archive all the references at once so no information is lost.
As for "we'll fix them later", that's what we all (even the other random passer-bys) have been doing. When IPs or new editors add references with the old style (this is a reasonably new system), we just go in later and convert it to LDR. It's really not a hard system. Most people have been catching right on with it and makes more sense. Just as the references on the article are called from above with [1] and listed below, that's exactly how they're coded ({{r}} above and the normal ref below). To me, that means any new editor to wikipedia can know how the referencing system works right away (there was nothing more frustrating than clicking [edit] on the references section and finding it to be EMPTY and having to search for the ref I wanted to edit).
Anyway, I appreciate the fact that you're working hard to get these (at least this one) articles to GA status. That's why I haven't touched any of the other major edits you've made to the article. I'm very interested to see what the article will grow into (and if you have any ideas, don't hesitate to let us know, we'll be dying to help). Call me stubborn, but there are just some things that I believe should be in an article, and that's why they were discussed beforehand. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 01:46, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. But I still think that more discussion about it should have taken place. I know you guys are just trying to make everything perfect for her articles, and I applaud you guys for that, it's just kind of frustrating as you must know. And yes, I also plan on getting more of her articles to GA as well. "Girlfriend" was the biggest of a mess, so I thought I'd start there. I hope there are no hard feelings here. After typing all that out I feel better (LOL.) And have no idea what I'm talking about anymore. Show me the bot Scott. ;) nding·start 01:55, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No hard feelings at all. Call it counter-productive, but the "bot" is a php-script I have on my web server that took me about 8 hours to program (vs. an hour or so to do it manually?). Originally, I was going to code it so that I can just type in an article ("Girlfriend (Avril Lavigne song)" for example), and it would get the wiki coding, convert all the ref tags to LDR, and then post it all on its own, but there were problems (unauthorized bot, and loss of 'special characters'--specifically Japanese). So now I just copy/paste the coding into a form, click submit, and it gives me the converted coding so I can just copy/paste back into the article. I'd show it to you, but it's in a private section of the web server. =D ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 02:02, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow! That sounds complex. You can just do it. xD I'd be great if you could help me out with the article. I think I am way over my head with this. It's such a mess. The music video section is the worst. No sources for pretty much anything, and the concept is WAYY to long. Also no sources for the cover version. nding·start 02:05, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well now that the coding is completed, I can convert any article in less than 5 seconds, so I guess it's worth it in the end. ;D Wow, you're right on the nail with that concept section. Honestly, it looks like that entire section is longer than the script for the video itself! I'm not the best at finding sources, but I've re-worded and condensed a few articles in the past. I'll see what I can do with that section. But it'll have to wait until tomorrow--can't be on Wikipedia all night! =D ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 02:14, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, yeah, it doesn't matter when. I'm trying to find some sources right now, and fix up the lead. I'm getting somewhere. :D Do you know how to source things from like the TBDT DVD on the deluxe edition? And I know what you mean about being on all night. xD nding·start 02:17, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RE:

Yepp, it was only a matter of time. And including Miley and Kanye in on it too? they are going in at all angles! They way his team works now, I think its absurd for people to think he's going to be gone in a few years. Btw, just to let ya know I split remix and compilations back on the discog, because while it seems logical because there are few, compilations and remix are completely different, in that a compilation album is like a greatest hits album, compiling past songs. While remix albums may have previous songs of an artists, they are not past releases or the same versions, therefore ..err, remixes. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 02:02, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, just so ya know I didn't copyedit this, I just threw it together. And it was a bit hard because the body isn't filled out completely yet, so you would have to add/change when everything is complete (such as inspiration for the song, more about composition, etc?). I took it upon myself to look up some more live performances of the song. Also with more research on accolades & more of the song, the third paragraph would use expansion. Btw, its also a bit NPOV-y, but it should be fine with GA, but if ever at FAC they would rip it apart. But here it is:

"Girlfriend" is a song by Canadian recording artist Avril Lavigne. The was written by Lavigne with its producer Dr. Luke for Lavigne's third studio album, The Best Damn Thing (2007). "Girlfriend" was released as the lead single from The Best Damn Thing on Februrary 27, 2007. While drawing influence from 80s pop punk music, it also makes use of the power pop sounds of earlier music. Lyrically, the song revolves around its protagonist having a crush on someone who is in a relationship, proclaiming she should be his girlfriend. It has many similarities to The Rubinoos' 1979 single "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend." Songwriters of the previous song later sued Lavigne and Dr. Luke for copyright infringement, before the suit was settled.

The song was a worldwide success, peaking at the top spot of the charts in the eight countries, including Canada, the United States, and Australia. It additionally charted in the top ten of most other countries. The song's accopmanying music video, directed by The Malloys sees Lavigne portraying three alter-egos, with all of them fighting over the same guy. In June 2007, the song's official remix, featuring American rapper Lil Mama was released. Lavigne performed the song a number of times, including at the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards, the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, and the 2008 Juno Awards.

The song's success made it a mainstay of pop music in the late 2000s. "Girlfriend" was certified multi-platinum in Australia and the United States. It was the top-selling song of 2007, with over 7.3 million worldwide sales. In 2008, the song became the most viewed video on YouTube, and was the first video on the site to reach 100 million views. Several versions of the song were released with the chorus sung in multiple languages. In 2010, the song was named the ninety-fourth most successful song on the Hot 100 in the 2000s decade.

Re: Strip Me GA

[edit]

I did think about this quite carefully... the international release is still speculative. One source from the US called it a US and Canada-only release. The information already at the article is good quality. Without a confirmed release for 2011 in the rest of the world it is simply an assumption that the album is pending further release. Even when Bedingfield said in December that the album was coming out elsewhere later on... that was before its lack of success in the US. Amazon and HMV listings for the project disappeared and the single release was removed from radio playlists. It was because of those things that I though GA could be appropriate for this article. But thank you for the comments!! -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 22:48, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I guess this is Jlo saying... my whole album will only feature Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and RedOne. what a shame... although I liked the stuff... "What Is Love?" should make the album as the introduction song, "Hooked on You" as the middle, "Faint" should also make it as a good mid-tempo song. And Darkchild's "This Cannot Be Love" which sounds urban hot lol -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 19:02, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not using Darkchild was a bad choice. :( He is one of my favorite producers. Tricky is great, but not the best. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 21:36, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ya never know. She doesn't have to list every producer that's gonna be on the album in an interview. And besides, I read somewhere that she's still recording. AND OMFG at her first world tour!! nding·start 21:40, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please check next time that your changes were correct as Britney Spears clearly completed the song in mid-December 1999 after starting it on November 12, 1999. No recording was done for it in 2000, so 1999-2000 is incorrect.Carmaker1 (talk) 02:25, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Femme Fatale Singles Section

[edit]

"Hold It Against Me" was released January 11, 2011 as the first single from the album. On the day of its release, the song set the record for most radio plays during a song's first day of release, with 619 plays in 24 hours and 595 plays on Nielsen Soundscan and additionally went on to claim the record for largest radio spins increase in a week, with 3,866 more spins.[1][2] The song was produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and newcomer Billboard. The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and set the record as the fourth highest selling one week sales tally.[3] The music video for the song was filmed over the weekend of January 23 and 24.[4] "Hold It Against Me" received positive reviews from most critics, with many praising its dance style.[5]

Although the title of the second single is currently unknown, on January 16, 2011, producer Dr. Luke tweeted "britney's 2nd single gonna be fire!!!!!! watch out!!!!!!".[6]

Tell me what you think about this. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 14:53, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey just thought I'd let you know I'm completely re-writing the album's page. Its a right mess at the moment so I'm giving it more structure and I'm gonna preserve as much of the info as I can cause its going dead bit by bit (the sources that is). Also it now looks like the majority of the record will be produced by Tricky & The-Dream or RedOne. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 03:39, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

heY just thought I'd let you know after like four hours+ i've finished copy editing Love? (album). I think it looks really good now. I also found out that she's recorded only 20 songs for inclusion on the current version of the album and in interviews from the last 3 months the only producers she mention are Red1, Tricky and The-Dream. It may be safe to say only songs produced by them will appear on the album :( -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 20:20, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers! Agreed though, the Danja is the shizz while the Darkchild stuff sounds amazing. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:10, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. She sounded amazing, but she messed up big. How did she fumble the lyrics??!?! I was watching with my parents and they already hate her and now they can say that she doesn't know her country's national anthem. I don't get it. She has sang it so many times before, how did she screw up?

She needs a comeback... badly! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 20:48, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like some artists are already defending her. Weird Al's comment Twitter is going nuts over it. I'm seeing "SoDamnBionic" "CAguilera" and all the other major fan Twitters for her going nuts! I've also seen quite a bit of mean stuff I won't mention... --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 20:57, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Hold Your Breath

[edit]

FYI, Lil-unique already started one here. :P You're a lil late! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 17:45, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey ending, I started one (above) on January 8, 2011. Feel free to add to it and when the article is ready you have my permission and blessing to move it to the article mainspace. For a shortwhile (or maybe longer) I am taking leave from wikipedia. But I expect you and Cprice1000 will look after Love? (album) and On the Floor (song) in my absence. "Don't Hold Your Breath" is my baby... I love the song so I'm entrusting the sandbox to you... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:42, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why, if I might ask? we will greatly miss you. We will both do our best to improve both articles. You and Legolas have to be the two greatest contributors to pop music articles. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 00:22, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Aww that's sweet of you. I've tried my hardest... its nice to know others like my work and what I do. All I can say is that things have happened in real life that mean my attention is required elsewhere right now. Its breaking my heart but I have to pass over things I've started to ensure they get finished. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:32, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm not going to ask for anything more personal. If you need to leave, I guess you must. I was looking through you sandbox and saw that many of them should be Wikipedia articles (Her Name Is Nicole). I was wondering if I could move it and credit you. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 00:42, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You could but all the sources for HNIN are not exactly 100% reliable and the article is quite out of date. It would need updating. And per WP:NALBUMS it is extremely difficult to prove notability for unreleased albums. You can feel free to work on it and try and improve the references etc. plus add new information that may have surfaced e.g. "Nobody Can Change Me". Then ask at WP:NALBUMS if people would consider it notable. If you drop me a message if/when you think its ready I will keep an occasional eye on things. I will be back I just don't know when... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:46, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Aww Unique. Hope everyone gets settled out and turns out okay. Good luck! Of course we will take care of the articles. And with HNIS I think I'd be great to eventually get an article set up for it. It's an extremely notable unreleased album, having four singles, and being somewhat controversial with it being shelved. nding·start 01:00, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you and Cprice wish to update the article and establish notability go for it. I will support you in that. I've done a lot of leg work but like I said it will need updating. (Allmusic has a correct tracklisting for the 2007 version of the album). — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 01:02, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if it would survive the mainspace right now.. i'd hate to see it get AFDed... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 03:41, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, anyway. It's about time for me to start back on revamping Fever. Step 1. Plays "Red Blooded Woman". Step 2. Opens Fever. Step 3. Open Circus to model after. Step 4. Goes to work. No one has a right to comment on real life. But regardless of that the IPs comments show a lack of intelligence and could be extremely offensive towards others. p.s. love the britney comment... Doesn't matter. "Go Girl" was announced as the lead single from Fantasy Ride and it is still included on the album. "Got You Back" by T.I. and Keri Hilson is the lead single from T.I.'s album Mercy even though it is only featured on the Deluxe version of the album. An album single is defined as one that is released in promotion of an album... nowhere does it say that it has to be included on the album. I know that my seem like an alien concept but just think for a minute... "Go Girl" introduced everyone to the whole Fantasy Ride era... even though the label and artist are pretending it didnt happen, there are sources etc. from the time of release which confirm this and which also show that thye bad press it received prob contributed to the lack of success with Fantasy Ride. Thus the single was recorded for Fantasy Ride, released in promotion of Fantasy Ride, heck it even had a cover with the Fantasy Ride-era theme but its not included on all versions of the album... what's most important there then? — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:59, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
sony appear to be good at that... just consider the whole "Woohoo" disaster.... in situations like this remember the little duckLil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:08, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I need some suggestions for Fever. I want to GA nom it soon, but I'm a lil stuck. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 02:15, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JLo's tweet with the album cover says, "the album will be out in a few months". I'm worried that it doesn't confirm march 29, 2011... few months sounds more like April or May. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:47, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of March. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 50. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, we hope we can see you in March. MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 00:25, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article claims to be under construction, yet there have been absolutely no significant edits to the page in 3 weeks. Why is this template back on the page (for the 3rd time)? If there is "an expansion or major restructuring" going on, where is it? It appears that most of the work has already been completed. If not, please supply a list of ideas you had for modifying the article and other editors can perhaps do it if you are too busy. Meanwhile, the {{under construction}} template shouldn't be on the page. If you have it there because the article isn't "done" yet, remember that no article is ever "complete". ~ [ Scott M. I'm gonna undo what you did to that paragraph, then I'm gonna shrink all of the PWL era stuff into one paragraph and the Parlophone stuff into one paragraph. I Help, When I Can. [12] 17:55, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2009 concert tours

I felt I didn't contribute enough to the article (just 21 edits) I will surely help fixing the article up :) – Novice7 (talk) 11:59, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I created, but Indopug said it was useless :D Well, Kylie is very famous unlike Jessica. Mine passed, thanks to some very good comments. It would pass, that's for sure, but would need serious fixing. – Novice7 (talk) 12:10, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The lead is a bit too big. I've started fixing it up. – Novice7 (talk) 12:15, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Born This Way & The Fame Monster

[edit]

There's already sources wich I posted in both The Fame Monster and Born This Way discussion pages that claim that:

The Fame Monster is Lady Gaga's second studio album. Using the three words: "second studio album" and Born This Way is her third studio album. Including 2 sources coming from Billboard. Akerk (talk) 22:59, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The problem here, is that I'm following Wikipedia's guidelines: I'm citing sources, and for Born This Way I'm citing Billboard, two times, so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be changed, Billboard is one of the most reliable sources for music, and they explicitly cite Born this Way as her third studio album with the three words, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be changed now. Akerk (talk) 23:42, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ending-start, I've pulled something together, I could find more links relating TFM as her second album and it is mostly known for editorial reasons sometimes studio is left away because it is already understood that when talking about albums with new material, they talk about studio albums, but I've followed your way and took the work of searching for links that include the two words "studio album" found just a couple for TFM but for Born This Way, a lot more links with more reliable sources citing it as her "third studio album", Billboard was talked before but citing it just as her "third album", that's why the discussion ended, but the 10 links I've provided in BTW discussion page all cite it as her "third studio album", using the three words. I repeat, I've done my research and fullfilled the guidelines. Akerk (talk) 23:57, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

If you revert again without an explanatory edit summary on Raven-Symoné (album), you will be blocked. This is your final warning. Describing the other editor's edit as "vandalism" won't count, because it does not appear to be vandalism. Note that both editors in this edit war have received an identical warning.—Kww(talk) 03:03, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't take sides. Note that I warned you about reverting without a summary. If you revert parts of it, providing logical descriptions as to why, you would not be in violation of my warning.—Kww(talk) 04:25, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The February 2011 Wikification Backlog Elimination Drive is almost complete. Please help, as the backlog is still very large. Still exceeding 20,000 articles! The goal is 18,000 or less. Lets see if we can do it! We're going to need all the firepower we can get, so please remind your friends to help as well.Thank you for all your help thus far!

Born This Way

[edit]

I wasn't referring to a Wikipedia consensus, but to my own evaluation of the consensus of reliable sources. I asked on the article talk page if anyone had any sources that called the album her "second studio album," and no-one responded, so I figured my evaluation was likely to be accepted. If you disagree, please do respond to my request for sources on the talk page.VoluntarySlave (talk) 21:11, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whether TFM is her second studio album, and whether BTW is her third studio album, are separate questions (they're logically connected, of course, but any conclusion we draw from that connection is OR). If reliable sources don't call any record her second studio album, Wikipedia shouldn't either; that doesn't mean we shouldn't call BTW her third studio album, if reliable sources do so. So the discussion about the BTW article belongs at that article's talk page. Evidently, as you disagree with my edit, there's no consensus for my change; the way to build consensus on this is to discuss it on the BTW talk page, I think, so please do continue the discussion which I attempted to start there.VoluntarySlave (talk) 21:21, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: What's My Name

[edit]

Per WP:GA you are supposed to ask the editors who edit an article most before you nominate an article for GA especially if you yourself are not a big or major contributor to the article. If you look at the page statistics you're way off mark nominating the article per proper etiquette. As the editor with most contributions it should have been my decision and you should have at least consulted me... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 01:19, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Its sound really bitchy I'm sorry. If you could remove the nomination for now. When i'm back off my semi-break (and when I've copy edited the article) I'll renominate and you can be a co-nominator if you like? — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 20:10, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OMG, you are amazing! And it didn't take so long, the article needed some major fixes. Thanks to you and Novice7, this article could be completed. Thank you so much again. - Sauloviegas (talk) 01:36, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GAs

[edit]

When you pass an article as GA, you have to replace the template on the article's talk page from GA nominee to GA, as well as modify the assessments, per the guidelines right on the GAN page. I did it this time but make sure you do that in the future. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 20:25, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a singer in Canada by the name of Alexis Free? Or, is it simply a hoax? — Novice7 (talk) 11:30, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's good. But, does the person really exist? Oh, move this to my talk. We can discuss there. I don't want to start a new conversation on a clear talk page :P — Novice7 (talk) 16:59, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WikiCup 2011 February newsletter

[edit]

So begins round two of the WikiCup! We now have eight pools, each with eight random contestants. This round will continue until the end of April, when the top two of each pool, as well as the next 16 highest scorers of those remaining, will make it to round three. Congratulations to The Bushranger (submissions) (first, with 487 points) and Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions) (second, with 459), who stormed the first round. Scotland Casliber (submissions) finished third with 223. Twelve others finished with over 100 points- well done to all of you! The final standings in round one can be seen here. A mere 8 points were required to reach round two; competition will no doubt be much more fierce this round, so be ready for a challenge! A special thanks goes, again, to United Kingdom Jarry1250 (submissions) for dealing with all bot work. This year's bot, as well as running smoothly, is doing some very helpful things that last year's did not. Also, thanks to Bavaria Stone (submissions) for some helpful behind-the-scenes updating and number crunching.

Some news for those who are interested- March will see a GAN backlog elimination drive, which you are still free to join. Organised by WikiProject Good articles, the drive aims to minimise the GAN backlog and offers prizes to those who help out. Of course, you may well be able to claim WikiCup points for the articles you review as part of the drive. Also ongoing is the Great Backlog Drive, looking to work on clearing all of the backlogs on Wikipedia; again, incentives are offered, and the spirit of friendly competition is alive, while helping the encyclopedia is the ultimate aim. Though unrelated to the WikiCup, these may well be of interest to some of you.

Just a reminder of the rules; if you have done significant work on content this year and it is promoted in this round, you may claim for it. Also, anything that was promoted after the end of round one but before the beginning of round two may be claimed for in round two. Details of the rules can be found on this page. For those interested in statistics, a running total of claims can be seen here, and a very interesting table of that information (along with the highest scorers in each category) can be seen here. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.
