Hi, can you not find enough to start the remaining red links? The problem is a lot of them are highly referenced but lack much biographical info about them I guess. There's a statistics page that recognizes frequent contributors to DYK. This list is divided into creation credits and nomination credits. Each list requires a minimum of 25 credits to sign up.
By the way, when you added my name to the line that says "Created by..." the bot wouldn't have given me any credit. You must add a credit line below that (this is only visible in the edit window), to where it says {{DYKmake|Victoria Joyce Ely|SusunW|subpage=Victoria Joyce Ely}}, adding another line with my name in it. Nvvchar I added two sources to Kundoo. My guess is that the tag related to the use of Linked-In. I'm kind of like Ian, it doesn't automatically make it a bad source is you can back up the linked-in claims in other non-involved sources, but rather than argue, I just found a different source. She has never been employed at Cornell, so isn't involved, was a juror in a contest and they gave her credentials. Also fixed the timeline on her work in the last paragraph. I think you should now be good to go. Will look at Maxman in a bit. SusunW (talk) 14:45, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
Nvvchar I did a double blind copyedit on Maxman, meaning I did not open the sources so there is no chance copied from them and I did it twice to make sure. That tool Victuallers is using is still picking up on names. I asked him to relook at it. I mean, the names of her children are the names of her children. The name of the Girl Scouts is their name. The name of the awards she won is the name of them. So yes, they match the source. But no text, other than a quote which is marked as a quote matches. Hopefully, he will see that. Good luck! Thank you Yeti Hunter. @Nvvchar: and I make a pretty good team. We've worked together on quite a few articles and I try to do blind editing on them, if he asks for my input, so there is no chance of any copyvios. Once he has them sourced, we trust each other to improve the files. We are half way across the globe from each other so sometimes we can access different sources for improvement. I just know from what Rosie described she wanted, I don't have the ability. I have no idea how to include the laundry list of things she wanted included and I don't want to be listed by name in the Signpost. At least with a regular WP article, I have some degree of anonymity, but I have seen what happens to those who put their names out front on here and I don't want to be that woman. Notability and Such

Carry-over from Matilda Lăcătușu AfD. I'm afraid you didn't get my observation about consequential work "surfacing", e.g. being translated, which is just as demonstrative of notability as citations. Such work becomes known far beyond the borders of wars and disasters. Your claim that "there is absolutely no point in creating a biography which recaps the brief biological information" is non-sense: a stub of a notable person, even with just "brief biological information" is far more important to WP than 10 articles of obscure, non-notable individuals. And, as to: "I would never create a stub on WP. It is the fastest route to getting a file deleted that I know", you should know that much of WP is actually comprised of stubs – these do not get deleted if the subject is notable. You might wish instead to view stubs as placeholders that invite expansion...Agricola44 (talk) 23:26, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Agricola44 Thanks for your input. What I actually prefaced the above quotation with was "Unless absolutely unavoidable..." In addition to my own creation of articles, I have expanded approximately 10 stubs per month to start class, but the truth of the matter is it is much easier to work on an article from scratch than to redo someone else's work. I produce a lot of documented content and occasionally look at an AfD if it comes into my radar. I typically avoid them, as they become drama-filled. Just because I defend an article at AfD does not mean that I would write that article. It means that in my estimation, it meets WP guidelines for inclusion. There are many articles on here that aren't remotely "encyclopedic" but fit the guidelines. I try to improve them. Others delete. That's the way that it is. I find it difficult that you engage by insulting people repeatedly. We work differently. That's okay, it isn't "non-sense." We shall agree to disagree. SusunW (talk) 23:56, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Nvvchar Your additions are great. Once I realized she was actually Croatian, I worked from the Croatian article. Amazing what different sources we have access to. I asked Ian to look it over, as I was not entirely sure of the Italian translations. I love that factoid that the beatification started on the anniversary date of her oath. How cool!

@Gerda Arendt: Thanks for your encouragement but I think I'll leave it alone for a while. There's quite a bit more I intended to do but the history section took far longer than planned (and as Susun knows, I've also been busy with other things). We need to expand on wife and family (perhaps a separate section). Far more should be added on "Legacy" which hardly covers the influence of his music on other composers. I simply have not had time to look into his students, some of whom certainly deserve special attention too. I would also like to be able to include more details in the lead on the basis of the Sgvrfjs draft but that will require extensive treatment of how S was influenced by other composers and a deeper analysis of what is so special about his music. I think we also need something on the major performances/recordings of his music. That will all take time. I was hoping there would be more extensive contributions to the article from others. Perhaps Smerus or some of the other classical music experts would like to assist or comment? --Ipigott (talk) 11:10, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
I understand! (It was half a joke, because that was a very thorough review, making sure that every fact is referenced, while the DYK rules ask only that - rule of thumb - there be one ref per paragraph.) - Next year we will celebrate Max Reger, I would like to have "him" (so far under-referenced) a GA until his date of death in May, but certainly will not pursue FA if that prevents DYK at the same time. I plan to make his Requiem a FA, but better for a different date although it would be the most logical thing to have on a day of death. No need to be sorry: they didn't want ANY DYK because we had a TFA about him (as Ipigott explained below).   • It is strange, isn't it, that different rules apply to GA and DYK. For DYK, en principe, there should be a clear citation for the hook whereas GA calls for no references in the lead. The ALT4 was more or less a summary of the whole article as expressed in the lead. As for not hitting 8 December, it had already been decided by the powers that be that we should not have the biography in parralel with the TFA on the unwritten eighth symphony. Be that as it may, the Jean Sibelius article has already had over 47,000 page views this month which is not at all bad for a classical composer. The DYK may attract some additional interest but my main concern was to get the article up to GA standard for the anniversary. Gerda has been helping us along with lots of other new articles on S's pieces, several on DYK. Thanks for all your help, Susun. Must have been quite an effort for someone who is not particularly interested in classical music.
  • @Smerus: Busoni might indeed be an interesting target for next April but like most of the older Wikipedia biographies on classical composers, the article has no in-line references. If it were possible to rewrite the whole thing from scratch, I might take it on but I am not prepared to go searching for citations to justify what has already been written. No references in the lead (unless it's a quotation) is a rule for all articles, because it should be a summary of facts referenced in the body. I concur @Gerda Arendt and Ipigott: that the differences can cause confusion. No citations in the lede are required as it is a summary, but DYK does require a citation at the end of the facts that make up the hook, where ever in the article they appear. Both require that all statements be sourced, but GA follows the more standard practice that citations appear following each source and change only when the source changes. Nvvchar These ladies are fascinating, but confusing, which is why I put the history at the bottom of Cleusa's Article. Here's my analysis:
  • Maria Júlia da Conceição Nazaré had two daughters [1] "In this house lived Julia Maria da Conceição Nazareth, her daughters Pulcheria and Damiana and her granddaughter Maria da Gloria" (Francisco Nazaré was the husband of Maria Júlia da Conceição) AhHA so she was not Conceição Nazaré but rather do Nazaré?
    • Her daughter Pulchéria Maria da Conceição Nazaré had no children
    • her daughter Damiana Her surname isn't given, but it would be the same as her sister's da Conceição Nazaré
      • Pulcheria's niece Maria da Glória Nazaré must be the daughter of Damiana. But why is her name that? Matrilineal society, her name would be da Conceição Nazaré followed by her husband's name. Going back to the source, it says (Da união de Maria da Glória com Joaquim Assunção nasceu, nesta mesma casa, no dia 10 de fevereiro de 1894...Menininha: Of the union of Maria da Glória with Joaquim Assunção was born in this same house on the 10 February 1894 Menininha).
      • Maria Julia's granddaughter is Maria Escolástica da Conceição Nazaré but if Joaquim is her father, her name is Maria Escolástica da Conceição Nazaré Assunção.

This is born out by your source http://g1.globo.com/bahia/noticia/2011/08/morte-de-mae-menininha-do-gantois-completa-25-anos-neste-sabado.html which says "Mãe Menininha era filha dos descendentes de africanos Joaquim e Maria da Glória" ... Mother Menininha was the child of [people of] African descent Joaquim and Maria da Glória. Do you concur with the analysis? It isn't original research, as it comes directly from the sources, but it is tough to figure out. I still am confused as to why her mother is da Gloria, but I can just put that in a note, if you agree this is correct SusunW (talk) 04:47, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Nvvchar Did a few copyedits, not much. I, like you am confused why he cannot figure out how to access the table, but failing any other way to do it, I explained how to access the chart in "quote". If you look, you will see that it explains the procedure now, though why that is necessary, I am not sure. The page number was also evident to me, but maybe he's new to that style of citation?
